@RickyV300 The only reason guards stayed in place during a CQC hold was because you had a knife at their neck. They're not intimidated by a small fork.

i hit the first guard at 0:08 and go behind the prison to get the cardboard box run to the other side where the truck is and crawl under the hole at the wall to the next area quickly ru to whithout being seen between the counteiners and put as sleep the other two guards ignore the one close to the truck, pass through the door to where the tanks are parked and use now the cardboard box to sneak up.

my strategy is pretty different but works for me best

Purposely avoiding to pick up higher tier weapons gives you a higher probability of shagging pistol/tranq ammo off guards.

Pistols are by far the best weapons in the MGS franchise.

Nice, but basically you didn't collect or use anything. i'm not like that. There was an M63 in the Armoury I never want to give up on, so I just risk myself and take it. Had I act like you, just running to the sewers as fast as I can, it would probably end up the same.

It's simple really. (Unless you need to rush, because you want to try for the Big Boss emblem.) Just memorise the patterns of each solider. Or better yet, if your in there view. Just run directly in front of where, Snakes view-path is. They'll either take a while running to wherever you are. Or there just going to say. "Who was that?".

If you really want a challenge. Try for the Big Boss emblem on MGS4! (The gecko alert = alert. In the beginning of the game.) A lesson learnt the hard way.

i don't know where you got your facts but at the beginning of MGS4, the gecko do not count alerts.I did a test.I made sure to get spotted by all the gecko before i got my stuff.I did the rest as i normally would and i still got the BBE.

I ran behind it. If I ran in front of it, it would, probably, wake up. The dog was also asleep. If it was awake, it would, probably, notice me.
