I love this Irvin Berlin song. The lyric is so clever. This is the first time I have listened to this particular version. I am more familiar with Billy Murray's rendition, but I must say, both versions are superb. Very interesting film clip.
I like this, but (like the Pilgrims' being shown using 18th-century garb) it's an illustration of how easy it is to blur it all into "The Past"----"Futurama" had a wonderful moment when, from the notional vantage point of 3001, a theme park attraction showed Dr Einstein and King Hammurabi "disco dancing" in a hot-air balloon....
