To continue; my last ran over the limit.

Pleased to see that some of the Cy Laurie band recordings have been released by Lake records "Vintage Cy Laurie" on two CDs. You will find them on an Internet search.

Would love to hear from anyone who knew Terry and his second wife Maria in Canada, as Terry was not a good communicator and the last I heard from him was in an email requesting Roman coins. I never received a reply to my own email.

Nice to hear Terry playing again. I was regular visitor to the Cy (note spelling!!) Laurie jazz club. Terry and I became good friends, with me spending weekends with his family painting the inside of his thatched cottage in Bannister Green Essex, driving him back from gigs, and a whole lot more (he bought an old 1934 car from me at one stage). I am still in touch with his 1st wife Joyce and their two daughters.

It was so sad to hear of his loss.
