At first it looks like dust or dirt but after enhancing it looks more like some type of satellite, probably meteorite or debris tumbling. I saw this myself about 15-16 yrs ago at Port Macquarie at the headlands and around an hr before sunrise. A friend and I were bored and I had my brothers telescope so we went out looking at the moon. Except there were multiple ones, I think about 3-4 of the same kind of things hovering around the moon.

What baffles me slightly about this UFO is... why does the camera even have to move to follow this object, it's not like its going to move out of view, the lens covers the whole moon, so theres no need (that i can see) for it to move at all, there lies the real mystery. Interesting though.

Certainly it looks to me like an object thats closer to the moon as opposed to being close to the lens. If thats the case it must be friggin huge and cant be no satellite. I thought it interesting to that its apparent destination was an area of the moon that Nasa is very interested in.

initially I thought it might be a pair of balloons...(It is moving, if it was dirt on the lens then it would stay relative, not drop off the bottom of the frame.) What's the full story behind this? Was it visible to the naked eye? It appears as 2 object through most of it... It might not be as close to the moon as it appears, distance is difficult to determine beyond a point with a lack of reference

Does the Moon always look like this from Australia (southern hemisphere) - Tycho crater at 3rd hr (pointing East)?

From Northern hemisphere Tycho is supposed to be at 7th - 8th hr (SSW - SW) - its standard deviation varies around 7 - 10 degrees during "the Moon's month" (aka Moon's full cycle)

So for me it looks like tilted by 90 - 100 degrees counter-clockwise.

Great find seemed to me from the zoom shots that it is 2 objects circling each other rather than 1 objects with a shadow but i could be reading the movement wrong though if this is 1 object casting a shadow on the moon that thing must be HUGE. I put a pencil size tip on the object. The object moved off the pencil tip. Also, dirt doesn't rotate. Skeptics will NEVER be convinced. Believers don't need to be. Good catch.

I've looked at the video several times, and I think the object, (which appears to be two during portions of the footage) is definely on the moons surface. Look at it real clost and pay attention to what you think the terrains looks like. For example, when the object(s) (at certain times) goes in the crater you can see the object goes some distance on a slant. I am implying the object is driving against the direction of the hill that tapers into the crater. The it quickly levels back out of hole.

@rewilkins2 You can also see lights from its front, especially at the last 10 seconds of the video. Not directly in front of it, but a little further ahead of it. Look at 4:00 thru 4:10 and you'll see them. This I think is definitely a moon terrain vehicle of some sort. One thing is for sure if it is, it really covers some distance, given the radius of the moon. Or, could it be the true radius of the moon is not really as long as traditional science tells us?? Something to think about??

If it was dirty lens then dot would stay under pencil tip, but it doesnt, it moves way off it especially towards the end of the film. as to what it is i dont really know haha, good job!

Not sure what to think about it, for the most of the time, the object moves very little relative to the camera (as if it moved in earth's atmoshpere, only at the end of the recording does it move slightly faster). To me - it looks more like a silhouette of, I don't know, a bat perhaps, flying at some distance from you. If it was in fact moving above moon's surface, it would have to be a few km's across to be noticeable.
