@llchesterllchester It depends how badly you want to tbf. With shift after three months of training I still struggled heaps to tbf properly only managing 8 in a row maximum. After taking one week to learn/get used to right click as block; it only took one more week to learn to tbf fluently and use it in combat. This is just my personal experience. Your call.

Oh, also forgot to mention. metronomeonline helped me with the rhythm. To those following this vid and training, Don't bother with the metronome until you've at least seen the other vid Sam mentions, won't do you much good otherwise.

Everyone kept saying, "aww dude I learned tbf in 2 hours". So the 2 days it took me is probably extremely slow. But, thanks to this vid, I got it. Went through the whole routine multiple times over 2 days. The first day, I had it down to the point where I could consistently do the dbf in the corner, day 2. I got it down on that roof against the wall. Watched the timing vid...tbf 1/10 and aiming to improve, thanks :D.

@arcticbullets Thanks for the comment. I'm glad the video helped. Keep training; persistence is the key mastering tbf. Also, learning to tbf in two days is still very quick; when I learnt with shift, it took me a few weeks (yet only 1 week with right click from scratch e.g learning bf etc).

@Swat248 Ah yes, I'm glad somebody mentioned this. It is highly recommended that you run GunZ between 200-300 frames per second. Having a frame rate between those numbers will make life easier for you if your trying to tbf. ijji GunZ has its very own frames per second limiter. If you click Esc in game, then go to options, then to Misc, you will see an option "Maximum frames per second". Click on the drop down menu and choose 240. When this video was made this option was not available. Thanks.

Found that out yesterday and it only took me 2 hours to learn it! pretty fast? :D that time i didn't really gave up kept on training on that umbrella thing for a constant hour then went next to the wall and did a bf hang for 5 times and went back to the umbrella until i reached 20 bfs constant and tried tbf and did it. Just to tell you guys out there once you start getting your first tbf everything will be very different, you wont be able to dbf that much. 0 character

@Jasongheng Good good, you've got the first tbf down. Assuming your first slash is low enough all you have to do is work on your speed. This can be done using the float glitch and bf spamming or alternatively you can use spots in town. If you want to speed up your tbf, I recommend attempting to dbf at the AP spawn spot in town. Hope this helps.

@waniqq Alright. Bf cling is a major step on your way to tbf. The trick to mastering bf cling is to tap block as lightly and quickly as possible. Keep trying.

@minersmith My guess is that your pressing block too early. Try doing the exercise with only the slash at first. After you've got that down, then move on to attempting it with the block. Hope this helps.

@NeverLeaveTheHell Sorry for the late reply. Well, The slash looks very low in the video because it is a replay, if you can get your slash to hit the wall (Triangle red thingy...2:35) then you've got a pretty good first slash. If not, keep training the methods I showed at the start.

Well since Im hear still, might as well give addvice for further master... Try looking straight up & down and tbfing on walls, also back up (it makes it harder :P) and than repeat that step!

Right, You say you can tbf on wall but not people?

I'm assuming that it's because of the FPS change, but not entirely sure. To you use TBF well it has to be used at certain points and requires extreme timing. There are some TBF in battle videos on Youtube, I suggest you have a look at those. ^_^

here's what i did before i could tbf...first get ur clicking speed up by doing float glitch 20 - 40 minutes a day and dont try to tbf in a game, and you'll see ur BF and DBF get faster. then get ur first slash really low i did BF hang(this makes ur tbf pure) now once u do that try to do DBF where the armor spawns on town map.. then try to add the last slash on flat ground against a wall. if u cant do it try 2 slashes in one jump( if you cant do it its ur timing or your not tapping ur block key)

if you play trinity gunz try to meet me ( iTBF) in the first channel and i can help more. when i started tapping my block key i was click twice as fast because it lowered my delay so much...here's another thing i did..DBF before you start coming done..so do a slash>block then another at the top of your jump...if you do it right your character will "jerk" at the top of ur jump...record it and you should see animation freeze sometime, also record your float glitch each day

I learned how to tbf 2 days ago. What I did was master the 1at slash, do dbf than the hard (not impossibley hard) dbf and went back to the easier dbf. I just gave up so I went to a wall to see of atleast my dbf improved and than I did 5 tbf's Ina row XD

Well, From what you've told me, I'd say speed is the issue, Can you dbf on the rooftop?

A good way to train speed is to float and spam slashes. Record yourself and see if your animation locks. Hope this helped.

No problem. For your problem, try the float glitch and do a "fake tbf". Meaning, While in float, do what you would as if doing a real tbf, Jump>Slashblock x 3. Hope this helped.
