I like the juxtaposition of " visions " of the elegant old, pristine ( ? ) Opera House with the battered, damaged, slowly deteriorating Galactica, & the rumpled, disheveled Six & Baltar w / their better - groomed " angelic " / " head " counterparts. I admire the way Saul agrees to abide by w / ever Bill Adama decides - That's friendship, beyond Cylon " skinjob " or human.
Did they ever explain why they had classic centurions alongside the newer models? My theory is that the older looking Centurions are used for defence rather than attack.
@danielqmul they said during the show at one point that the older models are like hive guards to the first ever hybrid, james adama saw the first hybrid (new version cylon basestar) at the conclusion of the first cylon war when he heard its voice saying "all of this has happened before and it will happen again"...in conclusion those older models act as its guards and keepers

How many elements from prior seasons are involved in this scene... Combined with the music, the acting...and bringing a multi year plot to an end. what an amazing scene!
