I was actually in an FYE in MD and heard a Periphery song over the speakers and thought it was Animals as Leaders. I asked an attendant what band it was and he said it was his band. Looking back, I was "Shit! I should have asked him so many questions!"

Periphery is a band from Maryland that began as an project of Misha Mansoor's(BULB) that evolved into a band. Casey Sabol was their second singer, and the one who most people credit as where the band refined its sound. Chris was his successor that most people know as THE lead singer who lead the band to notariety. Spencer is the current singer, and the gentleman you are currently listening to in the video. He serves as a common ground between the two.

Casey Sabol wrote Inertia (Juggernaut) and Icarus Lives, along with an unknown amount of other assorted lyrics on the current album (Insomnia)

Chris Barretto wrote Light and The Walk, as well as most of Letter Experiment.

Spencer filled in the gaps and completed the album.

Jake Veredika was Periphery's original vocalist who wrote a good bit of material for the band, but was later ejected for undisclosed reasons. Most believe this was for the better.
