But what I mean is I will still associate with someone who rightfully admits that s/he is gay. I was given a bad time in school as I am epileptic. People who were born in 1940-1955 are baby boomers, they're in their late 50's and early 60's and still look young because they keep active, they grew up in the 60's and 70's as teenagers or young adults with equal rights, women's liberation, so they didn't stay in the kitchen and become housewives or traditionalists. This is the sweetest message. I am glad, you Suze, knew you were gay from birth. It was mush less clear for me due to child sexual abuse and my mom's crazy behavior. Still, I have PEACE and JOY today. I came out to myself ( i had to figure it out) and later ro my best friend and best kindest person in the whole entire world, my husband....and get this...he love me unconditionally & more because of it.Oh yeah I came out to Wayne Dyer on his radio show, before coming out to my DH.

@mrdaym There is always an option. Whether or not it's the right one is beside the point. I see three options. 1. Stand up for who you are in the face of adversity. 2. Attempt to submit and fit in, suppressing a good deal of who you are in the process. or 3 and probably the most tragic option (that I sincerely hope nobody ever takes) is to end.
We as humans always have a choice. Even if it's the simple choice of standing up versus sitting down.

i used to like orman, but she is just like the rest. for example, she will have people calling in and asking if they can afford to buy something expensive like a new boat or vacation. you will notice every so often that one caller who makes alot of money each year, like 100,000, will ask if she things he can afford it.
obviously he can cause he makes alot each year, has 40,000 in savings, and 401k, ect. but suze still answers his dumbass question. it makes poor people watching,look stupid

But what I mean is I will still associate with someone who rightfully admits that s/he is gay. I was given a bad time in school as I am epileptic. Many kids didn't understand why I was not a sportsman. Simple: doctor kept me out of sports for physical well being. If I were playing football and went into a seizure, do you think the game would stop while I get trampled on the field?

Don't believe everything in the Bible - it's all humans writing what they THINK their God wants. Being gay is no different from being straight.
As you say, being good is the important thing. I'm an atheist, but if it turned out I was wrong, and there was an afterlife, I am confident I'd get into the good one.
