Have we accidentally removed important files? How to fix this problem?
We are currently unable to view my videos on MS and Apple computers (as we still do with other cameras). We are receiving MS error messages that the necessary codec was not 'downloaded automatically since the download codecs automatically check box is not selected in the Options dialog box.' (We don't know what that means).
i want a camera to make bmx videos and shit like that would this camera be nice or the mx20 because i want to get a fish lense but idk what to do like if i need an adapotor or w/e or the sizes and shit can u help me out dude? if u send me it i na message it would be helpful

Get a free player like BSPlayer or KMPlayer, both are great for most formats, including, Divx, xvid, mp3, mp4, vob, a huge list of formats they can play back. Tmpeg might be something you can use for merging files, but not sure about a free program to do it, let alone what formats it can cut/merge.
downlaod any video converter tahts the name of the program
and upload ur videos into it and click some buttom to swigtch the format and then go to the top right and u will see a scroll thing and select wmv and then u can uplaod them to wmm or w.e i hope this helped

yo i got a samsung sc-d353 and every time i open the screen its blank (meaning completely white) i cant see anything can sumone tell me how to fix it or a store where they fix it or sumthin thnx
the video ribbon is torn inside the camera $15 dollars if you can do it yourself or up to $200 to pay to have it fixed call 1-800-samsung for parts i have same one and had to replace it but it will break again and again its a design defect.
I want to use my MX10 it for fast left-to-right car passes on the highway(w/tripod), would it sustain well-lit city lights? Is there a better speed setting for nighttime?
what do i put for indoor and outdoors?how can i tape on dark.....when i tape its quakity is awesome but when i put on my computer the image when you move it it looks like waves how can i change this?

I totally agree. I bought the Samsung MX10 and was really disappointed. Low light video is terrible and the audio track records mechanical noises. Bought a Flip Ultra for $100 less, and it is waaaaay better quality.
is it possible to insert an external microphone because I know on the market are two differnet models by samsung one is called

mine as a provocation but I can say japaneese engineer are too over valuded if the problem of a sd camera is audio noise caming from the builtin microphone so give us the opportunity to resolve it by inserting and external mic many camcorder low cost have this opportunity of the external mic so it want to say it does'nt cost so much to canon o sony or sanyo or samsung
if canon or sony or sanyo or samsung or panasonic or hitahi so if they don't give it to us they are stupid completly the one farm for first will insert this option as a regular rule it will become the first on the market becouse the pubbic potential custmer begin to understand when a jap farm is stupid also by the help of our discussion like this
Pictures were taken from google from the search "SC-MX10". Yes those are pictures from the HD camcorder I realize that however there were no pictures at the time of the Standard def camcorder so I used these. They look similar and more importantly if you read the descriptioin you would know it was the SCMX10. No need to go calling people idiots, because I doubt that you have even owned either camcorder or gone to the store to look at them.
Images are not interlaced you can choose diff resolutions from 480i, 480p, and then a few smaller ones if you are uploading to YouTube or what have you.
I will be updating this review because there are SOME issues with this camcorder I have seen from the past few months of owning it
I bought this camera and returned it :( Even tho it's sub-300, I found some rather big flaws. Didn't like the quality of the image in just mid-low light. My Flip Ultra that was $100 less did far better. Also the sound picks up weird mechanical chirps and noises, especially when zooming.

i use de mx 10 for bmx videos and i hav de kenko .43 fisheye with a 33-37 step up adaptor and it works good

The mx series isn't very good for extreme sports because it doesn't have a mic terminal wich is much needed(the built in mic sucks ass)

Yes if it is the same size as the lens. You may have to buy an adapter though.

There is no mic input on the SC-MX10 (no c). And the mic picks up internal mechanical noises of the camera.
