you clearly let off the gas causing the vehicle to gain increasing traction which is what actually caused you to lose all control at the end. just start turning way in advance until you find the cars sweet spot and learn to feather that pedal. also gearchoice double clutching....matter of fact just get out of the car.

This sounds like your thermostat or your water pump may dying out. I have a 600hp 2003 Z06 with a procharger and my temp never goes above 190 even when road racing. My friend has a N/A z06 and his idling temps were up in the mid 200's before he replaced his thermostat. Hope this helps

Get a local shop to do a street tune and turn your fans on early in the program -- LS1s/LS6s don't benefit much from an aftermarket thermostat without the fans coming on early.
