  • Nice! This so beautiful :D You should make some more Mike Oldfield covers! ( I hope you all know that Sir James did not write this piece)

  • Played silver flute all of my life. You are obviously very gifted. I am now playing an Irish flute also. I'll have to give this a try...

  • The only song I've ever done from Phantom of the Opera was "All I Ask Of You", but I've been a part of other musicals like Jesus Christ Superstar and Guys and Dolls (playing clarinet, not flute).

  • oh yeah i like to play all i ask of you but i LOVE angel of music!

  • I play flute at an art school ( a school I had to play m flute to get in) I am in 7th. andyway I have band mon. wed. anf fri. for almost 2hours and after school on mon. wed. and thurs. for an hour

  • Well keep it up! I didn't go to a school where I had to audition to get in, but my high school had a large music program. I joined every band group I could. I even learned new instruments over summer break so I could join a new group when school started again in the fall. I was always in rehearsals, never at home. It was a blast!

  • this is so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. thank you :)

  • Glad you enjoyed it.

  • I am Irish so I love Celtic music anyway, but this is amazing! Where did you fing the sheet music? By the way, I have am Armstrong flute and I love it.

  • I learned the part by ear, but I think there are James Galway books out there for flute and piano. It should be in one of those.

  • now that i've heard this, my desiscion is final. i'm going to buy a flute, but there are so many different types. could you tell me which one you have??

really nice playing, it sounds better with flute than tin whistle which i've been playing 2 years now.

    harmen

  • I have an emerson soloist. Not the best flute out there, but I love it and think that it's all about how you play it anyway.

  • i love the way you play.

i want to vibrato like that. mine suks. ive been playing for like 6 years. you chose a nice song to play too!!!

  • Thank you. I listen to a lot of James Galway. I guess that's where the vibrato comes from.

Someone posted videos of his lessons here on youtube. I think you can find them if you just type in his name. Check them out! Might help improve your vibrato if that's something you want to do.

  • ur great! I play flute too but only 4 a yr and I need more practice...^^;

  • THIS SONG IS FANTASTIC

  • lovely--i'm a flanagan

  • nice flute, but i really dont like the arrangement... i belive the flute alone was better :)
