Actually it was a masterstroke. They put a powerful engine in a small tracked mobile chassis and gained a vehicle that could tow an ammunition trailer, anti tank gun or heavy machine gun at speed through ground that a jeep or truck could not travel through.
This vehicle could do in boggy ground in 10 minutes what it would take 5 GIs an hour or more to do.
Fantastic model! I have seen a real one, and this RC model looks fantastic. Nice work!
