  • Hate to ask, Man 6 and 7?

  • @duffy7993 per Gurdjieff : very high states of man #6 self-remembers,transforms suffering, experiences 'objective conscience' ..Man#7 all of #6 full time

  • Gurdjieff thinks it's best to work out your mobility daily.

    What does that mean?

  • @smokinbill One should work on themselves daily..." Conscious work and voluntary suffering" i.e. 'Self-Remembering' and 'Bearing the unpleasant manifestations of others'

  • I tremendously like what you're talking about, now I understand how I am driven by emotions all my life and feeling like someone is driving me, like I don't have any control over myself. I must order your book, I hope it's good.

  • Thought provoking posts! How do we go about remembering ourselves?

  • I have a # of Books in transit thanks to ur videos and mentions. It seems that Gurdjieff was aware of the Astral Body, the Mental Body and Divine Body. He must have been aware of different states of being and had knowledge and experience with Interdimensional travel(OBE) and the different Densities and realities within them.

I have been acting as a 4 and 5 on and off previously unaware of the teaching by gurdjieff. Where do we go from here. Where does the rabbit hole lead James

  • Live 4&5 and aim for 6&7 more 'later'

  • I have been an on and off 4 for a very long time since a kid but in the last year or so I have begun a 5 type of attitude which is not easy. U fall on and off that wagon. What about the Bodies and densities I mentioned. Did he have expressed knowledge of these realms?

  • I believe he knew more than he revealed-especially in light of his many cryptic references to "influence C" which was also called "Celestial Influence" None of his students have gone in any depth about just what that experience is;I intuit that it refers to actual experiences with 'higher realities' or 'higher' levels of consciousness/beings, perhaps experiencing our 'higher self'i.e. beyond the physical limits of space-time----experiences with the Nagual!

  • Unless the people of his time just couldnt grasp that level. I think Yogi Bhajan and Robert Monroe Books are Required reading to advance one 's consciousness. But Gurdjieff has an interesting perspective and I cant wait to read them.

  • in which video do you talk about self remembering?

  • In a few ...go to the early videos (1st 10 or 12)

  • I imagine then that it wasn't too tough on Gurdjieff when his wife died of cancer.

  • Even a warrior mourns and loves and feels-deeply; however a warrior, an awake man, does not indulge his grief or loss with un-necessary suffering. The typical man ,with his many indulgences and his haughty self-importance suffers every 'slight' or insult, ready to lash out at the slightest 'dis' or wrong look cast his way; Suffering and moaning over his "ill fortune" and "bad luck" A true man,one on the path of waking up, feels his feelings without denial and confronts his life on his own terms.

  • cool

  • I truly can't wait to know what is man 6 and 7. This is really interesting to know and I already got a friend who is now watching this your series. This video part is the most interesting of the teachings of Gurdjieff. I finally have the money to order your book now that I my allowance.
