Decent phone but it seems to be getting more unstable as i get updates. GPS used to work when was new but now with recent updates it almost worthless and phone freezing up or glithching out a lot in the past 3 months. Id recommend something else

Just got this phone today, upgraded from the piece of crap samsung transform. I had to pick between the evo or this. So I went with the epic, its really good so far. I find myself using the on screen keyboard more then th actual keyboard, untill I get used to it that is. [: but overall great choice!

wow the epic 4G is sooooooo ugly with its ugly design, keyboard, and gay touchwiz UI and android 2.1........my G2 is wayyyyy nicer looking with a quality feel and much better keyboard with froyo out of the box and stock android vanilla UI

As a hetero sexual male I am very much less concerned about how "pretty" my phone is than you are. I want my phone to do what I need it to do. The Epic is MY own personal favorite. For my own personal needs no other phone fits the bill like the Epic does.

I suggest you keep your pretty iphone, wax your knuckles, buy yourself a pretty purse to put it in and stop judging the heteros for wanting a phone to work well rather than making your butt buddies eyes sparkle, ok?

If it were to sit if your pocket all day in school and than you use it once you get on the bus or something I'm pretty sure the battery life would be considerably good.. But most people dont use the phone like that ya know ?

I really like my Epic. The only negative thing I am pressed to say, is that it doesn't have Android 2.2. How in the Frankenberry eating world is Samsung going to release a 4G phone with last year's operating system. No flash, and you have to select High Quality to watch decent quality videos while watching Youtube. A 4G phone should not have these limitations. Other than that, this phone is boss. Hopefully, Samsung will skip Froyo, and go straight to Gingerbread! Happy Holidays!

I was researching online and I hear a lot of talk about this phone freezing up and being cheaply made. So before I purchased it I went into the Sprint store to play with it and it really does have a cheap feel to it. But besides that the phone keep freezing, it was jerky not a smooth experience at all. Then I went to the EVO and it seemed like such a better phone. It was smooth, didn't lock up or freeze and has a great UI.  So I choose to purchase the EVO.
