@nuteon1 , thanks for the comment. The problem is that the glass is often "glued" to the sash material due to the heat it is subjected to when on the home. This happens especially if the window is facing south. This makes it more difficult to remove, and could cause damage to the sash material if pulled off as a unit. Thanks again for your comments!

if if you take the sash apart opposite corners it will leave with 2 Ls and it will easier to put back to together
