i can fee the difference between 2004 and 2005's rumba...there's no connection in their eyes....karina didnt want to look into his eyes for most of the time...and he has that kind of sadness in his eyes everytime their eyes look at each other... i can feel the emptiness....=( so sad...and so wasted...

what happened with them? they were amazing..so fluid and technical...i was told her choked her because he blamed her for a bad score they received in a competition...also he was mean and abusive to her...karina's very sweet i've read...is slavik that terrible...he's sooo handsome...they were dating and ultimately engaged...do you know why they really broke up? also, i read she didn't want to compete anymore and wanted to be on dancing with the stars.

I agree... It looks as if they're just dancing the rumba, but in 2004 they were FEELING the rumba and it had a lot more chemistry and passion... That's when I fell in love with this couple and Karina was, and still is my favorite female dancer... right after Yulia... =)
