I've really enjoyed Osho's talks, but this one seems a little bit off, because the "you" is something you acquire through life, and is a result of the physical mind, and it will end alongside the physical departure. You WILL die, so will your body, what else is besides is besides the point, because it would all be mere speculations... ones that I didn't expect from a man like Osho. There is nothing wrong with feeling immortal, it's wrong to cling to it too much.

Full of Contradiction. If “we” (our soul/true self) are not born and "we" do not die, that would mean that we have an ultimate source, a creator. I agree that "by sex, the body is born - not you and by death - the body dies - not you." That is true. However, where are "we" (our souls) before we are born and where do we (our soul) go after we die - if we were not created and there is no God/Creator?

Sex with love is life. Sex just for sex is death. for me anyway. Spontaneous sex followed by, "don't even think about getting serious" is death. Loving sex followed by a cheating heart is death. Sex is taboo because people were made to feel guilty for wanting it. Death is taboo since confronting it would lead to motivation to live fully in the drive to conquer it - something we are bound to accomplish someday. Anyway both these drives - for sex and for immortality, were suppressed in order to control people. That's why it's taboo.
