@Pharmit24 the xbox360 joystick is amazing for race games, but the best choise still the wheels, like Momo or the G25 and G27 (very expensive by the way, but the best so far)

hey, im having a problem with my 9800gt and i desperately need help. :-)

I've had my new comp 4 around 2 months:

specs:

Core 2 Quad 2.83GHz Q9550

4GB HyperX Ram 1066MHz

Zotac Synergy Edition 9800GT DDR3

500 Watt Zalman Noiseless PSU

I have been playing for a week now with my logitech g25 on DiRT & i love it, but lately, its been lagging quite noticably. Its so annoying becuz i have to put the graphics down to medium, where be4 it was on ultra. Plz help

that's weird dude, try to reinstall your drivers and close all other programs on your taskbar...and check your vga temperature, maybe is too hot, slowing down the performance.

@R1ckGex, Thanks ill try that & see whether that works. It was first only in DiRT, but now its in all games, if it doesn't work, i'll try putting in a new psu & SLi it, because its SLi compatible (motherboard).

you can but ram is minimum you should buy like 2 or 4 gb graphics is ok, i have 8800 i bought it yesterday it's awesome. The processor is good. Yea you can still play this game on high but on lower resolutions like 640x... and 800x600

I play colin mcRae dirt on pc with AMD athlon 6000 x2 and nvidia geforce 9800 GT, too.

colin mcRae dirt has got a very very good grafic and the gameplay with cool cars and more is wonderful!

well, yeah, rage racer is kinda unrealistic, but i've played race driver 1,2,3 and grid and they all do it. for example: 180 degree 4th gear corner, full throttle in a 500 bhp car and it doesn't accelerate. don't know what it's like in a real car but it doesn't feel natural

Aah, yes, you reminded me that. Yes, cars are going straight like on a railway track.

cornering in a high speed would shoot you out of the track but drift is the solution to that.

in DiRT by handling all cars seems to be 4WD. they are not unstable on RWD, etc.

Naturally on RWD it is easy to pull 360 degrees but not in DiRT.
