  • were can't I buy the hexafluoride of sulphur??

  • Woah! Impressive!

Did anyone else notice the music if from Advent Children?

  • Yes just as i read your comment the melody came in XD

  • no you are just a giant nerd *phone rings with the FFVII victory fanfare*.....

  • Totally. Freakin'. Awesome!

  • el exafluoruro de azufre es un gas inerte. incoloro e inodoro no soluble mas denso que el aire.

  • am I gone crazy or is there a final fantasy music in the background? and I love that gas, it's really cool

  • LOL, if you hadn't of said I wouldn't have noticed I think so too. And the funny thing is the little code I typed in was Diinzel just like the character from FFS Denzel. LOL

Wtf, I always say lol at the beginning and the end.

  • 10 month old comment ftw >_> XD

  • Haha, I've got one that I posted like 3 yrs ago.

  • what I meant is that you brought mine back and it was 10 months old...is your 3 years ago one brough back after such a long time?

  • Yeah, but it was on my old account.

  • It's 5th grade stuff, but is still amazing.

  • the ship is less dense beacause of its shape, which allows a lot of gas on it so its less dense if you include the air sitting on the boat. same reason metal boats float! come on people this is 5th grade stuff here its not that hard. BUT ITS SO COOL!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!

  • SOhio142, wait a second, you try to brag about this being 5th grade stuff, then why do ya get so amazed?

  • its funny because the gas cylinders are right nex to the thingy

  • @SOhio142 1. it's not less dense because of the shape. It's because of the substance, which is aluminium.

    2. From your other post, a gas is NOT a fluid, it flows LIKE a fluid, but it isn't a fluid or it would be liquid. And of course it's invisible. Oxygen isn't Green.

  • Put like an ant or something there.

  • Trapshooter123 that was a great idea haha

  • Science totally rocks!

  • i know what that is... its an invisible liquid so it looks like its floating in mid air

  • Nope. It is a gas but it is 6x heavier than air so it sinks. So when put into a conatiner it acts as a liquid so when the cup turns up the gas is in the bottom and when they turn it over it sinks through the air and lands in the foil.

  • thats what i mean

  • its an invisible gas you idiot! not an invisible liquid! liquids and gases are both fluids, but that doesnt mean you're allowed to mix them up!

  • hexafluoride is some amazing stuff...they had it on leno not oo long ago... lol really funny

  • omg, they are playing ff7 music in the bkground lol

  • This. Is. Totally. Freakin'. Awesome.

  • Probably Xenon Gas!

  • That's also a possibility. But I think they use mostly Sulfur hexafluoride for such demonstrations.

  • I see boobs :).

  • Fein, fein, aber warum zwei mal den gleich "Trick"? ;)

    GO KORTMÄM GO ^^

  • Wunderbar!! sehr gut!

  • this is bloody amazing!! i want that chemical, anyone know where i can obtain it?

  • You wont be able to buy it at the shops, but you could probably get it from a chemical supplier but you might need a licence.. It's awesome stuff, it does the opposite of helium, if you breathe it in, it lowers the tone of your voice.. Not sure how widely available it is, we have it at my university.

  • What??

It looks like string holding it up. Right before the boat sings look at the left side of it.

  • Sulfur hexafluoride is six times more dense than air, and is subsequently more dense than aluminum, so if you make an aluminum boat, the displacement of the gas will make it float.

  • SF6 is not nearly as dense as Al, off by a factor of a few hundred.

water is not nearly as dense as steel, but ships float.

  • That's simply the reflection of the metal lining up with the lighting and shadow of the person's smock

  • ya when i read ur comment i thought it was too but if you look its the refletion of the tin foil

  • Sulphur Hexafluoride ?=a9ifZlu6YKk
