That's a super clean install you have in your Kia. I really like they way you have that set up. Quick question, is the box you have dead on specs for maxium ported size or closer to the minium these subs need? I'm planning on doing 4 15s in my car and am trying to figure out how big I can go with the box.
G'day I'm considering buying four SPLX152HX to run off two bonecrusher2 @ 16v in a wall untill I can afford to upgrade subs, if the gains were turned down on the amps do people think these subs would last if used for demos and dB Drags? also does anyone have any spl figures on these things and off what amp it was done on?
I see your Kia was on Soundstream 2010 product brocure I should be on there soon I hope I just made a box out of Baltic cedar birch for 4each of the SPLHX 1522s powered by a xxx 4000d and my 4each pairrs of RFC 60 c componentys powere by a humarieng hru.4 ,I am hoping to hit close to 160 DB only time will tel as on Feb 21 I have my 1st SP,l competetion this year good luck Beau F!!

i called soundstream and they told me there is no difference in the pcx or the trx just different casing from the looks of it sounds much better than the te1501d i really can't wait to hear my 9500s with this mtx doesn't have a low pass cross over on the elite amps which really kinda turns me off there elite. but i do love mt te1004 power 1 9500 like nothing and it does beat very extreme but i think mtx off alittle in the amp department this will be my first soundstream amp so i'll let u know
@MtxBeatsAllDay I have had 2 each of the Soundstream PCA 2000d's powereing 2 each of the soundstream splhx1522 and they hit when strapped together ,so hard that it actaully broke the box made out of MDF so now I am making a wall for 4 each of the splhx's powered now by a xxx 4000D sub amp I hope to get as close to 160 DB as I can ,I know that there is a bout a 10.00$ diference between the PCX ( Picasso )

What do you want to know? I used to run the 12s. You'll need 3 ft^3 per sub so 3 would need 9 ft^3 and you need at least 6 4" ports tuned to 38hz. This will rock.

Nope the TRXs are great amps, and very clear. I have never hear a mono block as clear as these
