I'm using TSP2 without Kontrol S4... I can record loops and overdub no problem......on the loop recorder I have it on 100% wet.. if I record a loop and overdub, the sounds keep fading away over time.. it;s like the overdub is gradually wiping the sound away by reducing the initial volume by a fraction each time - any ideas ?! I have gotten aroudn this by dropping each loop into a sample deck and recording a new loop but this is limiting

HI there everyone, is it possible to increase tempo without increasing the pitch of the tune? like master tempo on the pioneer cdj, any replyies would be most appreciated :)

@fealmor There is a pitch lock button. There are two places you can turn it on/off. First spot is the button directly below the 'key' knob. Hit that so it turns brighter and its on. Hit it again and it will darken and turn off.

The other spot is on the waveform overview. There is a musical note on the right of the small waveform on each deck. Hit that and you will toggle the same feature on/off

@ikickallass oh i see, pretty sure ur refering to the keylock button? but everytime i hit that on the s4 it seems that the overall tone of song goes down.. is there a way to avoid this?

Pedal tutorial here!! If you want to use a pedal you firstly need to have one (From a keyboard, guitar or something like that) and connect it to your computer... How to connect it depends on your pedal but you can easily find tutorial on the internet... When you have you pedal connected go into traktor configurations and under controller management you can assing it to whatever you want.. Loop recorder, play pause, anything! Thumbs up so everyone sees it!

he says he takes a 30 second note loop and it cycles so fast that it starts to modulate and gives you the guitar tone but never shows you how to make the loop cycle that fast to do that.... can some one explain how to on the s4?

The sample deck is a fantastic idea shame it ain't as fly as you think there's no keylock and somewhat the whole sync thing on traktor is unpredictable I hav to screen every track before hand and the filter pots don't work with beatmasher and some of the other effects it's a great unit it's a shame these issues and more hav not been addressed SAD

be careful about buying an kontrol s4 there are issues and they have decided to closed down the forum, probably because so many ppl had the same issues that werent being addressed.

@yourthebhoy oh really well apparantley the s4 is pretty advanced his pa must be baller status with some ridiculous signal processers to me the sound is to clean to be recorded from a video camera with his levels so high if that was right he speakers would be blown right now

its not a new feature. the S4 has a footswitch jack on the back combine this with any standard break out pedal. now map as a midi function as standard in traktor. very very simple no guide neeed.
