Actually he uses the "Beast" there is supposed to be a fleet of  6 of them.

The "Beast" is a nickname, sometimes code word, for the Presidential Limousine, ANY presidential limousine.

They started using it more to describe the current model, supposed current model of President Obama.

But lately, as you can see in this video, he's been using Bush's Caddilac DTS limousines instead of the newer Model GMC Topkick-based, Cadillac-badged limousines.

The new ones were't made for Obama himself, but took service during the new President. They rotate out old ones as new ones come in. The new one everyone saw is the 1st of many new cars. They will continue to use the 96' style as long as needed. The newest version stays in DC until more are avaliable from the manufacture. It takes literally years to build one car. These days they rotate the cars more regularly. During Clinton's time you could find him riding in Bush 1 and Reagan era limos

The failing economy did NOT start on 20 JAN 09. You are correct. NOR did Bush cause it. The seeds that were sown for these conditions occurred when the Democrats took over both Houses of the Congress in **2006**. Pelosi (I want a big jet) and Reid, and the enablers of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac...THAT'S what brought down the economy in large part. That and world-wide economic conditions.
