the hole for the engine takes a lot of frame, especially the height of it,it spreads a lot nearer the seat than the original px,with time and rust ,i can see a lot of weak points there
I'm seriously considering buying this thing (125cc version). Combines the old, awesome style with a modern engine and exhaust system. I heard that it does 60 kilometers with one litre of gasoline. Even if it does less, that would be around 2 liters per 100 kilometers - that's incredibly good.
my son has just bought a new 4 stroke one. tell you its good and for thodse who dont like the sound its keeping the traditional style and geared scooter out there. just wisjh lambretta had moved with the times
"micheals1992 why didnt piaggio do this in the first place? instead of there new ones that look crap compaired to these even the asian labretta looks better then the new vespas 4 months ago."
Personally I would rather buy a P200 E the real deal instead of this and I believe Piaggio did not want to continue the P style scooters because they do not sale in any market compared to the new Vespa and Piaggio line. In the end that is what keeps a company a float.
@vespaet4 Piaggio stoped making the px range as it didnt meet the eu immisons the px 200 went out of production ages ago and in 2007 they discontined the 125 px after it failed the eu immisons.. 2 strokes sound awsome, when piaggio stopped making these scooters everybody wanted one, now you will have to by and lml and the funny thing is you can by a 2 stroke one too strange..
there is a big hole for the engine cut out of the frame and also on the other side where the spare wheel is,that must weaken the frame considerably,i bet w3hen rust get in there ,might be a few probs:O)
I think it looks pretty good, not bad at all. I wold consider one for the local commute, especially if the MPG was anywhere near the 170mpg claimed, that would be superb.

Is the fuel tank bigger than the 2 stroke model ? (being that it doesn't have the oil tank) Their website doesn't show fuel capacities.
