Hi, ill answer for Stuart if i may. Stuart uses Giesemann Metal halide 14.5K SE 400Watt coral lamps. He balances these with Giesemann T5 tubes mounted in Matrix light pendants.
Im not sure of the number of tubes and lamps he has over the tank so he may want to comment on that.

i do not want to be mean by saying this but. do you have someone that is going to take over cleaning and caring for your tank. when you pass away. i would hate to see this tank die with you.
how many gallons is ur tank and what is the width,height, and length please thank you?

@AmandaPayneTv Stuarts tank dimensions are 2.2 x 1.5 x .72 m or 7.2 x 4.9 x 2.4 feet.
Total system volume - 3000L or 660 U.K gallons
