I think thats where the problem lies. Whie i do agree with your statment, I have to say if Sega ever tried to create story arcs like this for Sonic , than either the fanturds will complain WHAT ABOUT OUR NORMAL SONIC or it might just end up being a bad game. For example sonic 2006 (I wont even go into details). Mario has never had a complicated story at all since the 80's, yet he still ends up being more popular than Sonic. Sega just their just doing ther job SAVING Sonic

At least Archie is making better use of all these characters the Sega games simply ignore. Ian Flynn in general has done an excellent job creating story arcs and scenarios that would sadly never be present in a game. They could make a great game based off the comics. Depending on where the series is taken from 223 and universe onwards the series could get real interesting real quick. Sega is perfectly capable of great composure just as the comics but some how they have lost that ambition.

@ImAkeYouDifferent I imagine a "Silver the Hedgehog" game would be cool. Sometimes, I think the numerous comic characters get to be a bit much though, to be honest. One thing that would REALLY be interesting would be a show/animation based on the comics. Lots of material to animate.

Since Mobius Encyclopedia has no idea how generations work, I think I'll submit my own explanation for the Alternate Remnant Freedom Fighters.

Scarlette & Cutlass= Children of Antoine and Bunnie (Without inheriting robot limbs.)

Dagger and Blockbuster= Sons of Rotor and Bark respectively

Demo Duck= Son of Bean and Falcon 7 (Ha ha...bicurious.)

Payback= Daughter of Tails and Fiona (Most likely the robot one)

Jani-Ca= The axis around which all possible future realities turn.

At list it removes the whole happy ending being set in stone aspect of the 25 years later arcs.

@KaiserShield I only brought the generations thing up because according to Mobius Encyclopedia, the alternate FF's are alternate versions of Rotor, Bunnie, Fiona, etc. and not their children (which is complete bullcrap since they would all be in their late forties at this point).

Yeah, I agree they probably won't settle on one real future, at least for another 20 years. It's not too bad, except that none of the 2nd gen characters ever get any decent panel time except for Lara-Su.

@Iamafishproductions I never really liked the whole FF aspects of the sonic comics as it only created more, and more plot holes for the authors to fill later, like knuckles turning evil TWICE!!!!!(how? why this time?) shadow turning into a crazed dictator(why?) Tails, and Fiona getting together(despite never having any prior interest in each-other) and MANY more.

I just hope the authors figure out someway of preventing these future tragedies cus I and many others dont want this to happen :(
