Fur helps hold in heat, but it's the fat layer that keeps the animal warm. :) Obviously the animals are very well kept and the dog blew me away with the skill used in covering up! Plus that sigh at the end as head rested on pillow. That's a well set up doggy. Kitty will stay warm though, lots of places to snuggle under in Denverguy41's home I bet, I know that it gets COLD in Denver!!
