The khawarij is declaring the Muslims to be disbelievers, and more severe than that is the killing of the Muslims and transgressing against them through terrorist activities. And this is the manhaj of the Khawaarij, it comprises of three aspects:
Firstly - Takfeer of the Muslims.
Secondly - Disobedience to the ruler.
Thirdly - Making permissible the blood of the Muslims.
I don't necessarily agree with one side or the other but the comparison in this video seems incorrect. It is based on many assumptions, no body at this time knows who has committed some acts of well known acts. Furthermore, to says Chechen who are fighting under a recognized leadership are some how fall under this group seem to me extreme. We have to be careful there are lot of scholars on US payrolls. God knows best!

Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen (rahima-hullaah) mentions:
If backbiting of the layman ranks amongst the major sins, then backbiting of the scholar is much greater. This is because the effects of backbiting of the scholar does not rest at him only, rather it rests upon him and that which he possesses in knowledge of the Shareeah.
USA misuse it's power, but so does Islamists! They blow up trains buses cars just for the purpose of killing people who have a different view of the world than theirs! Apparently this terror is not seen as terror in their eyes, it's seen as something good something their Allah approves! Well, ask those muslims who lost their family members in Madrid or London ask them about what they think of your interpretation of Islam and good and evil! I'm sure you will get a different answer there!
