him: .... BITCH WHY YOU GOT KEEP ASKING HARD ASS QUESTIONS!

  • Danny I'm not the only one to think this, most americans think parkour is about chucking massive things and not caring for landing it etc. But I really respect you as a traceur. You are by far, in my opinion, the best american traceur and also very high up world wide. You actually understand parkour exactly, I know you're far better than me and sounds silly for me to be saying this. But you care about touch, foot placement, sticking stuff, control etc. I know its not bout being the best but yno

  • @nintendocrew Thanks a lot bro, I try and concentrate on all forms of movement and further control those skils by tuning into technique and balancing out power.

  • @gL3BB1 LOL I love people like you, that think they know everything just because they heard the story before. You apparently didn't listen to what I said, and didn't bother to read the description. Arrogant and Ignorant....

  • Were from New Zealand and are behind you Danny! You and your boys are welcome in Auckland anytime. Come have a bbq and well hit the beach =]

  • nice really amazing what program did you use to edit this? ANd to make the intro it's amazing. keep it up ;) take care

  • @SanojLTL I used Final Cut Studio. btw thank you.

  • @CrazyRican158 amazing how dit you learn how to use it? I just got final cut pro and I really think it's hard. Is there alot of different with final cut studio ? thanks for the respons i appreciate it a lot. got some tips ? thanks

  • @SanojLTL I just taught myself but pro is the basics to studio, Studio has more programs like motion/color/compressor/etc. All different programs to learn.

  • wow this is such an amazing video, a true inspiration, loved it.

  • Parkour is much more than 'Parkour'

    ...Beautiful.

  • CrazyRican158 your skill is very impressive you have great amounts of strength and balance ability! Keep up the good work man!

  • This is a amazing video. i love it. Prob one of my favriots. Sorry to be a little off topic but where did you get the "feed the beast" shirt?

  • @jumpfree77 Thanks a lot bro, and I actually sell the feed the animal shirts, just email me here if you want one.

    axiomproduction@yahoo.com

  • @CrazyRican158 "feed the animal" sorry haha. still love it. thanks for the info i will contact you soon. :D

  • Hah i seem to have made it in the shot at 4:36

  • and your strength to grow and succed in your parkour life style should help others to see that it isn't just a hobbie, it's a way of life, away of breaking the mold of society and finding that point within of peace and complete control of both body and mind! Alot of love for this video, train safe!

  • I respect you not only as a traceur but as a person, I don't normally do this on parkour videos but your words carry such meaning and philosophy, weather or not it was intended! Your resilience is truly isperational, and I feel (note the word feel, those who dislike this) that parkour for me is an escape from life and the focus intended to train is greatest when my mind has been filled with life's little problems

  • Devisions aren't created by definitions but rather intolerance of definitions. You see it with racism and religion; It's the people who can't accept how something is defined that generate all the arguments, vendettas and wars.

In New Zealand we accept the definitions. By accepting the definitions you're not LIMITING YOURSELF. There's nothing to stop you doing what you want. To live by only one discipline is madness; make your own choices and accept others', and leave the definitions alone.

  • @WilfredJamesGodfrey The reasoning behind what you said seems to be logical, but I do believe the logic that you present is based off of perspective rather then the situation/activity that is at hand. Definitions themselves are primarily just feelings that are written down for others to base a standard off of, except for the fact that not everyone has feelings set to the same degree, there's no way one single definition will be accurate enough for one individual. Language itself is a barrier..

  • @CrazyRican158 A definition isn't a feeling or a guideline. That makes no sense. A definition, by necessity, is something exact and concrete. A word without a solid definition means nothing. We're saying similar things only, if I'm reading this right, you feel that you need the definition of parkour to be everything that you train to be.

Parkour isn't everything, and it doesn't need to be. An apple can't be an orange too, Taekwondo isn't MMA, football isn't rugby, but you can always do both.

  • @WilfredJamesGodfrey To explain my point in detail I would need more space then youtube, My point is that modern day parkour is more of an art, art is the exact opposite of what a definition is. It's meant to be experienced rather then examined and defined for only one purpose..

  • @WilfredJamesGodfrey depends on your view of parkour... I see it as more than an art, but primarily a philosophy worked out through physical movement. The essentials are rigid: safety, efficiency, fluidity, strength, creativity, lifetime endurance, overcoming, persistence, helping others, repetition... without any of those it's not parkour in my book, but within those guidelines it's very open. It's not the movements themselves that are essential.

  • Beautiful video by the way man, much love.

  • Man, this is beautiful, truly inspiring. Watching it I just want to go outside and train...great job bro :) keep it up :)

  • Great video I love it I watch it every day, I just now put a comment lol. Anyways this video tells why people do Parkour and love it. @CrazyRican158 I will become as good as you someday :)

  • This video explains to everyone why we love and have a passion for what we do. I plan on starting parkour on february 6, 2012 exactly a year from my fall. i cant wait. this video is so inspirational to me. thank you.

  • in february i fell 86ft while doing parkour(fell through a roof i was landing on) and dr.'s told me i wasnt supposed to live or walk for that matter well im doing both i even started jogging again. People ask me why do i wanna go back to parkour when it almost killed me. Parkour didnt almost kill me, me making a stupid decision not to check where i was landing almost did.

  • Amazing movement from an amazing person!

  • your precisions are amazing!! Everything was so clean, the music was great and your responses in the interview really sums up what parkour means to me aswell. Your such an inspiration!! Also i would love one of those feed the animal shirts, where do i get one?

  • @FREEZE2RUN Thanks for all the support, btw you can get one of those shirt if you email me here; axiomproduction@yahoo.com

  • This was great Danny. Hopefully it will reduce the amount of stupid comments and questions posted on your videos. This is really a testament to your passion for the movement and the progression of the entire community.

  • greatness!

  • If there was someone I could meet, I'd say it'd have to be you, Danny. Your words are inspirational. You've moved me to be a better person, and to not have such a negative outlook on life.

You sir, are one of a kind. Keep it up, man =)

  • @Magg0t666 Thank you, I hope I meet you someday soon.

  • I love your movements danny! Very inspiring video, and great perception. Take care.

  • man this video really inspires me, your such a good traceur and you really get the point across of why you train, Your way of training really inspires me dude, good luck for the future man

  • Amazing :) loved it

  • One word... Breathtaking!

  • A really awesome video... ^^ nice movement, and yeah parkour to anybody has its own meaning ; )

  • Beautiful vid dude! I love the fact that comunity and specially people like you, ryan, dany Ilabaca, besides making great athletic, skillful shows in videos, make this kind of statements, like those in pieces of art, what means, and what goes, and why you were involved, I love the openness in the comunity for sharing this kind of things. It really means how all of you feel the brotherhood, and not only with practitioners, but all the world

  • @XMAsteven Tampa

  • bealtiful

  • just beautiful! thanks so much for reminding me of some things i had forgotten... greetings from Mexico

  • @XMAsteven im no but i want to i live in jersey :(

  • I like this so much. Beautiful video, man.

  • Would have been sick if for the interview part it was just you and a bunch of friends chillin, talking about parkour and what it means to you instead of the kind of constricting question-answer format. Loved the vid though, it's great to hear about the WHY, not only seeing the WHAT.

  • @DFeuersturm Yeah that is a really good idea. Wish I would of thought of that earlier...

  • @CrazyRican158 It's never too late man

  • this was beautiful bro.

  • "Parkour never came into my life, because its always been there" I think alot of us feel the same way, its almost like we've been holding onto something thats there but we're not quite sure what it is. Finally seeing it and practicing it just brought us together under this ONE banner. Beautiful words man, beautiful video. Thanks for this. Peace

  • Daniel, just a few months ago, my girlfriend past away. She was only 16 years old. She was and still is the girl of my dreams and I really, really mis her. I wanted to give life up but when I see a video like this, when I hear you talking, on such a positive way, that gives me strength to keep going. To keep training and to become like you, but then with my own optimistic style.

Thank you very much and keep up the good work man :)

  • @MrCrazyFreerunner Im sorry to hear that, even though this wont help but I feel like I have to say it... She would of wanted you to carry on and be the best you can be in whatever you do.. It's okay to hurt and be sad but take that negative emotion and direct it towards your progression.. Im here for you bro.

  • @CrazyRican158 Thank you so much for saying this positive words. She was also a real positive person, always a big smile, always helping, just perfect for me. And it's true that she would have wanted that I carry on. And that's exactly what I'm going to do. I will make her proud and live my life good and happy, though it's very hard. I already changedthe negative energy and emotions into positive energy to help other people and for my school and sports. Again, thank you.

  • @CrazyRican158 At what age did you start doing parkour ? I'm 13 and i'm wondering if it's a good year to start doing this if i want to be a proffesional , maybe not proffesional but good.

  • i am really about to move to florida to chill with you and free run

  • @Tyler29Sullivan My doors are always open..

  • mostro ste es mi idolo

  • 3:27

    Thanks for these words Danny.

  • such a great video danny

i also agree with your words!

  • inspires good video comrade

  • inspires good video comrade

  • Awesome man! The only thing i would have liked to hear... "parkour is FUN!" im sure thats one point that everyone around the world can agree on... we do it because its FUN!!!!!!!

  • @braydenjones1 Yeah most definitely, good point.

  • Great Vid man. I love the editing and the statement "Parkour never came into my life, it's always been there." Great words of inspiration man. Sorry about your losses but it's great to see you maintain such a positive outlook. Congrats on your success and much more to you in the future.

  • Muito bom Daniel, muito bom mesmo!!

    Saudações do Brasil.

  • Epic great

  • Amazing stuff. The answer to why do you do parkour is perhaps..because it allows me to align with my higher, expanded self....allowing the Source energy to exhilaratingly flow through me as an instrument of effortless truth. Truth being whatever this 'Self Alignment' wishes to express in soul, heart, mind and body unity.Mother nature is always in this alignment, and for me, parkour is freedom from misalignment.. to an an veiling of my true self :-)

  • wow, this is amazing and ive literally just started i hope one day i can get to this level, btw where is this filmed? its a really nice location n i aint got nothing like this where i live

  • I love you NO HOMO

  • 1 of the few names on my list

    "meet befor i die"

    -Daniel Arroyo-

Outstanding words from a outstanding young person!!!

    Peace

  • @Cionn Thanks bro, because my list goes like this.

    "meet before i die"

    -Cionn-

  • Amazing video :) secondly where on earth do you live? The colours are always bright, not a cloud in the sky, some sort of movement heaven? Peace

  • i want to make love to your vocab....

  • Nice video Danny, Glad to see your still in the USF area!! Hopefully I'll see you parkouring on campus this fall =) Take it easy man - Victor

  • I've watched a lot of videos Daniel, and have been doing parkour for 3 years now. I started watching you're stuff since your dedication video, and I haven't been able to progress nearly as fast as you, I block myself mentally a lot of the time. Just wanted to say you're my biggest inspiration as a traceur, you keep pk pure and positive, thanks :)

  • @howsthatgoingforya Thanks a lot for all your support, you just have to keep pushing past all your barriers.

  • absolutely loved the interview.

  • Loved it, wish there was more interview to it though.

  • @micahneely There were more questions, I just didn't put it up because I knew people would hate on it.

  • @CrazyRican158 would you mind putting it up, like in a new video? cuz i'm really interested in your outlook on parkour and life in general in a little bit more in-depth version. :)

amazing video, amazing attitude - you really have something to keep up! and dont care about the haters.

  • @CrazyRican158 So? It's your video, you can put whatever you like in it. People are always going to hate, shit happens; fuck 'em. I personally like hearing interviews from traceurs, mainly known traceurs.

  • Awesome! Not awkward at all! lol

  • truely inspiring video. :)

  • kurwo jebana w wieziennym mundurze

  • my american inspiration. hope to meet you soon!

  • the movement is redicalus!

  • Such sick video all made sense to me man keep it hope, also if you come england hope to train with you !"!!!

  • @djaf420 hater

  • @JaredPKBC Fuck you dude this is beautiful

  • Your edits are perfect, his moves are perfect, his videos are perfect!

  • Oh dude, dude, dude... Don't script an interview! That's like journalism 101. It becomes awkward, and everything you say sounds fake, even though it's 100% pure.

  • @Yakushii Ans that's where you are wrong, the only that was scripted were the questions, the answers are genuine due to the fact that they came from adlib.. Don't assume unless you ask...

  • @Yakushii You think it´s scripted just becouse he has an advanced vocabulary?

    Lol.

Really awesome video, Daniel! : D Your a inspiration! ^.^

Remain yourself! Well thats obvious, but peoples douchiness like I read here might have a way of changing people... :/

  • @ISIJAH Thanks for the support bro, and don't worry I have been dealing with haters and skeptics my whole life. When they become negative with no logical reasoning, well that just tells me that I have to be on the right track, people generally hate when you are doing something right or apart from the general masses.

  • @CrazyRican158 Please don't call me a hater for that. I was offering some constructive criticism, and I never insinuated that what you said was fake.

I've been subscribed to you since you had less than 100 subs, and there's a reason for that. Don't write me off based on a single misinterpreted comment.

  • @Yakushii That's funny because nowhere in my response do you see me directly call you a hater, btw if you have been following me for so long you would think that you would be more supportive and you would see from my past videos that I have always spoken like this....

  • @ISIJAH Rofl, how was that advanced vocabulary? And where did I say that was the reason for my statement? How about you get your nose out of his ass and see the big picture? :P

  • @Yakushii You did not say that was the reason, that was an assumption from my part =P

And if you listen to the words he is saying, his vocabulary is pretty developed and advanced if you were to compare it to some random american teenager.

I´ll just ignore the last thing you wrote, sence you obviously did not understand the point of the whole video.

  • @CrazyRican158 nope

  • Hell Yeah You Are The Man!!

  • So sick, and beautiful video man.

    You're a inspiration for me :)

  • Dude, I want that "feed the animal" parkour shirt! It's so beast.

Keep up all of the good work Daniel. Stay positive

  • @trudarkness21 Thanks bro, and if you want the shirt then read the description.

  • I love this little guy. Much love, Danny.

  • <3 And this would be absolutely enough to say...but I will take a few more words about one specific thing:

You say that you arent right, and well...who knows, maybe you arent. But DAMN in my opinion you are so incredibly right and found some of the best words to describe I ever heard. Not only about Parkour but also about your attitude to life. And this attitude is astonishingly(never thought I´d use THAT word ever^^) right and worth following I really lack the words to tell. Thanks for this vid

  • @Monticapone Thanks a lot bro, what I meant to say was that I believe in what I say but I don't act like my thoughts are the only way to think or are better then anyone else's. It is just how I feel, but thank you so much for commenting on my video.

  • His Words are Golden!

  • this song goes so great with the video!

  • I wish you the best of luck bro. Alot of times when im out training alone i feel like im connected with other people training at that same time. I know it sounds wierd but i can feel it, and i feel very connected to daniel. Best of luck to him, he def deserves the best and im sure thats why he's gettin it :)

  • Man,whats the city you live in? Its beautiful... Places like this make parkour what it is IMO. Just awesome.

  • Beautiful

  • 4:35 Stop the EFFING car I neeeed to hit this spot real quick grab the camera!!
