@ian53LC1 You see those over head-bridges. The are used are sky rails. A lot of Japanese take those and subways too. Thats why there are not so many cars.

There are not too many cars on the road

Original "Ridge Racer" was situated around nearby city of Yokohama bay area,

but this part of Tokyo (the "Odaiba" bay area) was full of drift kids during its development stage. You can see why some kids just couldn't help put the pedal to the metal on these roads!

The area is fully (though there are partial left-over lands for further expansion) developed now, with police cars patrolling the area day and night.

I only wish I was old enough to hold a driving license, in those days ...

watching these driving videos leaves me with a strange feeling, i think the closest thing i could say it was would be awe. like standing at the base of the tallest building in the world and looking up, where your heart sort of jumps, and a little voice in your screams incoherently and all you can muster is a unflattering little giggle, very very cool.

Most of the videos are recorded in the early morning hours when there is little traffic (about 5am or so). About 7am is when the traffic picks up.

I love your videos! :D

It brings back a lot of feelings of nostalgia from when I use to live in the city. My grandfather use to drive around downtown a lot in the evening when I was younger, just to enjoy the view. The pictures of the cities and skyscrapers is all I have left of to remember him by.
