I personally use all the techniques. I have one for every tempo, I just subconsciously do it lol. Like if you notice in the beginning of the video after I do the four count w/ the hat I use my whole arm to perform those blasts. Now, I do this to create more of a powerful hit. Being its a slow blast, my fingers really don't put out the power my arms do lol. I do whatevers most efficient basically.
