I live in Australia, but Aberdeen is my home town and I'm proud at home wonderful it looks - why do people always put down the town or city they live in? You are lucky to live in such a great place, some cities are awful....

On April 16th, the day after my son died

of Terminal Cancer, i paid Aberdeen City Council £60 for its grass curtting service.

For the £60 i was to get the grass cut 14 times and the hedge trimmed once.

Since 1st of May to date, 23/07/09 i have

had the grass cut three times and they

missed the side garden on the 1st cut.

Ah well, i'm sorry you don't like it. I honestly am. Nobody thinks it's the centre of the universe. I do think it's disproportionately important in terms of population (maybe it's just the oil) but i'm sure others think Leeds is less important than you do. Personally i've never been there so can't pass judgement.

Hope you can glean something from Aberdeen, even if it's just a toleration of Tennents! (Something i haven't managed.)

P.S Leeds is about 3.5 times bigger..
