For about 3 months last year, parthenogenesis was my white whale of sorts. I found 2 indo-pacific house geckos (an entirely parthenogenic species) outside my house. I cuaght one, and sure enough about a month later it layed eggs. Then about a month after that she layed agian, but without that 2nd female (my theory) only one of the eggs was fertile, but died during incubation... Sortly after that, unfortunetly the female, and her babies all died, and I havnt gotten any more sense. But its amazing

- If an animal (or Human) is "het" it means that it caries the genes of the morph, but its not shown.
Fx. If you have a normal and albino Python regius (Ball python), and breed them, a % of the babys are het albino.
Then if you breed a het albino with anohter het albino, a % of the babys will be albinos, couse they both caries the genes.
And then theres ressive - dominating and co-dominating genes.

Not parthenogenesis but my tri color hognose male died in March of this year. Why? I don't know.
It was the only male tri color I had. Yet my 3 females continued to lay viable eggs, that ALL went on to hatch, in April, May, June, and July!

If I had a clone I'd probably end up making it a living crash test dummy . Maybe even have it do stunts of some sort. Entertainment purposes only. That way I could sit back and say there's no way I'm doing that again.

For about 3 months last year, parthenogenesis was my white whale of sorts. I found 2 indo-pacific house geckos (an entirely parthenogenic species) outside my house. I cuaght one, and sure enough about a month later it layed eggs. Then about a month after that she layed agian, but without that 2nd female (my theory) only one of the eggs was fertile, but died during incubation... Sortly after that, unfortunetly the female, and her babies all died, and I havnt gotten any more sense. But its amazing

If i had a clone i would chill with him all the team. I'd throw the ol' pigskin with him on the street and play basketball 1 on 1. And, since I play baseball, I'd make him be a catcher (since i'm a pitcher) and so i could throw pitches to him all day.

I would have my clone track down all my old enemies and make them disapear. Meanwhile I would maintain a wide public view of myself so I could never be blamed for it. You can't be in two places at once. On a serious note, we are getting closer to that technology, its called tissue engineering, crazy stuff.

If I had a clone, I'd get him to hold the camera when I'm trying to get some good shots while I'm herping. Seriously, I have a shot in mind and it almost never turns out the way I want. Too much zoom, etc... Can get annoying when it comes to editing.

Well first of all, clones wouldn't be the same age as you because they have to be born first. Right now I'm 15 and before nine months comes I will be 16 so I would be 16 years older thna my clone. Yeah we look the same and have the same DNA but our personalities are different. You never know, you could have a clone and not even know it.
