  • ;) thank you.

  • I would but it wouldn't be anywhere near as amazing as this!

  • @vr561600

I am sure you will do very well by May!

  • That was excellent! Thanks so much i needed this for my young artist contest that i am taking in May of next year.

  • @vr561600

Thank you so much! Best of luck your contest! Perhaps you can also post your own performance of the piece at the contest. :-)

  • very good

  • @cnegrea

Thank you so much! Glad you liked it.

  • Nice job :) i've been playing this wayyyy too slow

  • @mreggzandham

    Glad you liked it. :-)

  • Perfect speed.

  • @aileneco12

    Thank you so much!

  • *sniff* It truly is a song without words. There is no need for them. the song speaks itself, and you played beautifully.

  • @CocoCrazy310

Thank you so much for your kind remarks! I am very glad you like it. :-)

  • Beautiful!!!

  • @pianogirl98

Thank you so much! Very kind of you!

  • Not only are you good at playing piano, you answer most of the comments. Amazing. I like the lack of arrogance.

  • @legalizeinSF

Thank you so much! I try to reply whenever I get the chance. :-))

  • doing this piece for my grade 7 exam, my piano teacher told me to listen to others playing this, to capture the mood.

you did a great job :)

romantic is so not my style ><

  • @bubblewrap7

Thanks so much for your note and comment! I also wish you the very best on your exam. Hopefully, someday the 'romantic' style will be to your liking. :-)

  • Simply beautiful! I really enjoyed this. And excellent sound quality.

  • @OldRabit

Thank you once again. You are a very accomplished pianist. I wish I could play like you do.

  • I just love this gorgeous song - you deliver it very well. How do you like the electric pianos? Do you find they are as dynamic sensitive as uprights or grands?

  • @RusticPiano

Thank you so much! You did a very good job yourself playing the piece! I haven't had a good chance to compare the digital pianos with the acoustic ones, but I am seriously considering an acoustic on my next purchase. The digital piano was one that I could afford two years ago. The acoustics were way beyond my reach. :-)

  • This is also an absolute favorite of mine. I've searched for an audio version several times through out the internet and especially youtube. Quite glad that someone finally had the sense and the talent to post it here.

  • @VexedInAcid

I am very glad you've stumbled into my version of the piece and that you liked it!

  • Excellent phrasing, you understand this piece well. It is a pleasure to listen to...

And I am curious...is your piano moving ever so slightly or is that the camera??

  • @MellowCypriot

Thank you so much for your kind words. The piece resonates well with me and that is why I wanted to learn it. That was the camera that was moving. It was on a tripod but at a precarious angle. :-)

  • @lyricmudra

Your approach is the best way, I believe...find a piece that resonates with you, and it will show. I used to play pieces out of obligation and that's what caused me to take my many-year hiatus from piano.

Thank you also for your words, and I am impressed with your ability to play so well from sheet music...I memorize the pieces out of necessity, it's the only way I can get them sounding the way I want them to. Takes a little longer, but I think it's worth it!

  • Je pense que c'est trop rapide. Tu ne prends pas le temps de faire chanter toutes les notes!

  • @Orangananas

Thank you for your feedback. Yes, I wasn't quite sure about my tempo, but I just found out that Barenboim plays at the same speed. Of course, he does a much better job than I do! :-)

  • Very nicely done! This is a personal favorite among the Songs Without Words, and one that isn't often played. Would love to hear you play it on a well-regulated grand.

  • @MrRicksStudio

Thank you so much for your nice comments! I've seen two YouTube videos of 'The Sighing Wind' a while back and was immediately drawn to it that I thought I'd give it a try. It is also one of my favorites amongst the Songs Without Words. Yes, would love to play it on a grand piano. Wish I had one! :-)
