The the "swing", the "impact" point where the slap-ee turns their head (as if it's from the force of contact) and the "follow through" of the slapper during the head-turning, the give it authenticity. For some, an impact sound effect is added for extra intensity. Of course, don't forget the rehearsals. That insures a good performance when taped.

The Nora-slapping-Tea one looks and sounds good too! lol.

"Jessica" slaps a "Natalie" stand-in or, body/stunt double naturally because slapping bruises and Melissa /"Natalie" having a swollen, discolored face would seriously delay taping! lol. Stunt doubles get paid to get knocked around and are their faces are never filmed, at least not up close anyway.

Actually the con game was how she pretended to be jess' friend, set her up to fall for Seth and pretended to "rescue" her from situations that she set up for her. Nash's death was def unintentional but the lies, deceit and betrayal that led up to it were not. Jessica is pregnant, now a single mother, newly widowed and has just been cheated out of a huge chunk of her inheritance..she's reeling and nat played a huge part in why things played out the way they did. she earned every bit of that slap

The deceit & betrayal that u are referring to were all initiated by Jared, rather than Natalie.  Natalie was torn b/w loyalty to her loved one & her family when she realizes the truth & it's only with reluctance that she supports Jared, a very common scenario.

Natalie didn't deserve any bit of the slap since she didn't cause Nash's death. Rather, Jess should be slapping herself for not realizing that Nash asked for his own death when he insulted Natalie, & Jared merely rose to her defense.

Don't get me wrong, i like nat, i just cant say she didn't do wrong in this situation.

Michelle, if Tess would come out, now would be the time. The only time the alters for either Jessica or Viki come out is when there is an issue so bad, so hideous that they just do not want to deal with things and the host calls for help to deal with things. This is one of those times. I am not a big Natalie fan, but this is one of the strongest scenes of the show in a long time. Melissa Archer and Bree Williamson were awesome.
