@AbitaVets You clearly miss the point, I suggest you listen to all three parts of this recording again til you realise your statement is wide of the mark. If you provide local entertainment then how can someone across the Pacific compete with you? When it comes to globalised production, of course those working for a fraction of the wages are going to win the contract. And anyway, what's wrong with hard-working people being entitled to good pay and conditions, union or not. Btw, 1 day =24h

Was Goldsmith murdered? The cancer he got was extremely rare and fast acting. Remember how the Russians killed that guy in London with radiation on his sushi? It doesn't stretch the truth to say that Goldsmith was making powerful enemies with these speeches and his book...l

Sir James sure made it perfectly clear. The posters comment is 1000% on target: sports, dance shows, fires, murders. Keep them distracted and dont teach the rules of money to kids.

Good speech. I have to admit that everything I've ever read about James Goldsmith has been negative. I remembered him as a villianous corporate raider. I've never even heard of this speech until today. Ross Perot said the sme things. No one listened.

Perot and Goldsmith were either ignored or laughed at until the housing bust (2007) and the continuing economic deathspiral. Perot warned about NAFTA but everyone thought he was crazy. Perot probably is sad to see his warnings have come true. Goldsmith probably looks on from above with a frown and "I told you so".
