  • I am currently in the process of upgrading my listening devices. Until now I've used a pair of titan skull candy earphones for my ipod, a turtle beach z1 headset for pc gaming, and a turtle beach ear force x 41 for console gaming. I was looking for better headphones for listening to music and just ordered the other day a pair of ATH ES-10 headphones, a FiiO E7 DAC/amplifier, and a FiiO L10 line out dock cable for best quality sound. I'm very excited for it all to arrive.

  • tee hee asooos lol :)

  • This is my #1 tech porn channel.

  • Gtfo with your shitty beats. Just cuase they are expensive as hell youdont have to brag that you have the shitty headphones, my sisters BF is a DJ and has really expensive headphones i could get his ones cause he got new ones its like a year old but its fucking crazy, its a pioneer headset its fucking sick and 1000 times better then beats

  • @UndefinedZProduction I'm guessing either hdj1000 or 2000

They're not that great, but they're alright...

Pioneer doesn't make THAT great headsets imo

Look into sennheiser or audio technica.

  • i will b receiving my Asus Xonar STX and Sennheiser PC 320 thursday :D

  • @justl33t hope you like it:)

  • I really like your reviewing style, great job!

  • Maybe not nicks expertise, but very important video none the less.

  • WHAT ABOUT AUDIO RESTORATION PROCESS ????

WE NEED AUDIO RESTORATION, LESS DISTORTION,AUTO VOLUME LEVEL,SUPER SURROUND SOUND BASED SYSTEM,

CREATIVE HAVE AUDIO DISTORTION PROCESS, BUT IT'S SOUND DISTORTION FEEL LIKE REAL BATTLEFIELD ,

  • I don't want to pay more for a soundcard than I did on my headset. What's a decend soundcard for Sennheiser PC 360 G4ME?

  • 55555555555555555555555555

  • "ASUS Xonar Essence STX" + "AKG Headphones" this is what i use :D

the sound card cost me 150 euros, headphones around 220 euros.

  • I'm getting the Sony xb700's are they good?

  • @2596Z I have the 500s. They are extremely comfortable and you the extra bass isn't a gimmick. Love these headphones. Got them 3 years ago and I'm still using them.

  • omg it's the scout

  • why don't you ghetto make one by using a quad op amp on the headphone out... it costs like 2 dollars...

  • It was difficult to find any good audio file on archive.org (not explicitly mentioned that a particular file is a high quality file, mostly flac versions of low quality mp3s). I would be grateful if anyone suggests a direct link to download page for a high quality audio file (any kind of music will do)

  • Linus, the HD555 & 595 are both 50 ohms, and quite similar regarding power requirments for propper driving.

  • Audio Technicas M50's Best -$200 Headphones Hands down!

  • Audio Technicas M50's Best -$200 Headphones Hands down!

  • 555 and the 595 are the same internally , they use the same drivers

  • I use HD555s and I don't plan on upgrading any time soon. Is he basically saying that, for me, an amp/DAC would be unnecessary? I know he was just using them as an example, but before I spend $100 I'd like to know if I'll actually see a major difference.

  • @jakedmagic check out this mod for your headphones to convert them to 595

    mikebeauchamp()com/misc/sennheiser-hd-555-to-hd-595-mod/

  • I use a sister model of the audio card cited, a XONAR Essence STX (PCI-Express x1), in a CM1630-06 upgraded with an EAH6850DC PCI-Express x16 video and 750W Antec PSU. For a LinUX box, Auzentech may have a better upgrade from the Creative Laboratories SB0350 in the X-Meridian 7.1 2G, which packs the C-Media CMI8788 and a headphone amp in a relay-free PCI 2.2 package.

  • Why to upgrade when i can build an headphones amplifier ?

  • Someone please answer! I have a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50s. They are brilliant but they sound 5x better on my computer than my iPod. I listen to LOT of music on the go, will a portable headphone amp help me get that sound? Thanks and please tell me if you have any specific portable amp suggestions.

  • @darklord2626 yes, you can try to pick up the Fiio E6 Headphone Amplifier - E6, a little less than 30 on amazon. it's real tiny, only about the size of a nano.

  • Can i get an amplified soundcard for a laptop???????????????

  • What amps would you recommend for shuresrh750dj headphones

  • what amps would you recommend for a sennheiser PC 360 headset

  • why get this when you can get a audio interface?

  • Onkyo tx 608 asus xonar d2x what more can i say.

  • My headphones are 47 ohm's and max input of 1,000mW's. Would an amp be a good upgrade for me if my music is 256kbps from itunes?

  • they need to sell the card with out the pc350's

  • @sox49bruins33 Sadly they are discontinued. The PC350 that comes with these aren't the usual ones ( crap ) the one that comes with these are outstanding.

  • BUY. REAL. HEADPHONES. ,,,

    DAMN IT

At least use some Ultrasone headphones if they should be used for gaming, but a <300$ headset? WTF?! You'll get a much better sound with "normal" headphones from real hifi brands like Sennheiser, AKG, Beyerdynamic, Audio Technica, Ultrasone etc.

  • @BadButNotSad "gaming" headphones have mic's thats what people want

  • @Ri1seAgainst buy a 12€ logitech webcam, they have got pretty good mics ;-)

  • beats by dre is some hardcore marketed crap

  • Yes,I have a ASUS Xonar Essence STX Sound Card on the way.

  • Beyerdynamic DT990 with Nuforce HDP DAC/Headamp connected via toslink to onboard optical out. Sounds amazing in games - the low end on the Beyers really shine with proper amplification.

  • Putting a headphone amp in a computer full of electronic noise.

    Brilliant idea!

  • No, I'd rather buy something else like a GPU, even If I do have a 560 Ti, I would get another one.

  • beats by dre suck big time

  • @spacefdeviceweb Xense maybe blows all Beats headphones!! haha

  • @spacefdeviceweb uurm. you have clearly never tried them. or you just cant afford them so you decide to knock on them. if people want to spend the money on looks and true bass then why should you say otherwise.... troll.

  • @Seniital well, except the most expensive one, that is fine for listening and monitoring, the rest is completey worthless for monitoring or even listening to music. It is not a matter of money, just depends on people references of what they think/know is a "good sound".

  • @spacefdeviceweb nope not good for monitoring at all

  • @Seniital beats suck ass, the quality to price is shit.

  • @Seniital beats dont have true bass its a distorted bass disaster

  • @tv321123 im using beats studios now and when it comes to dubsteb drum n base and rock songs ect there a fucking beast. you canot knock on beats untill youve tried them and if youve tried them you either now how good they sound or you are just jealous so decide to say they are shit.

  • @Seniital I bough the pros and studios both around august, I used to think they sounded good until I tried my friends beyerdynamics

  • Lol, noobs and their "gaming headsets" or even worse, BEATS BY DRE.

Poor misinformed souls who will never get the chance to enjoy the sennheiser hd 25 II with asus essence.

  • 3 things about this video

    1. Impedence has little to do with the amplication needs of a headphone, my 40ohm Ultrasone PRO2900s are quite demanding

    2. Sound card amps are alright, but kinda shitty, I have the ASUS Essence and my Sones make it cry

    3. The Senn HD555 is an HD595 with a peice of foam blocking some air holes, same drivers(look it up if you don't believe me) Same with the 558 and 598, but they have slightly different casings.

  • @cssheadshotmaster you're gay :P

  • Steel series siberia headset is good for my gaming needs. But my 2x400ohm monitor headset is better =) but try to run them in your computer ewwww.....

  • Linus, I find headphone amps are great, apart from the fact that they detatch you from reality for a while when in use. Your house could burn down around you, and you would never notice ... NUFF SAID ?? Always be aware, Howard :-))

  • u want the best sound buy a E-MU 1616m and u should be good for the next 100 years!

  • is he gay? he seems quite gay.

  • you're a tool

  • someone give me a headphone to way thissss guy.

  • i use onkyo too :D

  • I use a receiver and a pair of Sennheiser 555's sounds better than any "gaming headset" I have heard and better any headphones for that matter.

  • Beats SUCK! Overpriced, SHittty Quality headphones. Get ANYTHING ELSE!

  • @srivasvivaz Most people buy them for the name, street cred on them is crazy, and if you're seen with them you will be respected.

  • @srivasvivaz

Had a funny argument with some kid at my school who thought they were badass headphones showing them off and I just told him "Um Dr. Dre doesn't have an engineering degree you know" seriously go to school with a bunch of ignorant people trying to be audio geeks (no amps, equalizers, etc)

  • @srivasvivaz actually i bought the Beats by dre PRO's and i have to say i am disapointed compared to the others in that price range. luckly the store took it back and i bought a Denon AH-D2000 with is a better soudning all together and it's cheaper.

    But you are RIGHT

  • im watching this using a laptop and listening with Corsair HS1A's

  • Just buy a portable headphone amp..

  • The headphone amps on soundcards arent as good as a decicated headphone amp (such as a fiio e9 or a tube amp)

  • I'd rather just get a USB dac/amp that way it's compatible with laptops as well and I can take it with me.

  • @bryant1316 And a usb dac/amp will also not suffer from the electrical noise in the computer and will sound better

  • @Bentech1999 What noise inside of a computer case? Even 20 years ago when sound cards were something simple, and they didn't have these plastic "EMI shields", they weren't noisy. I'd like actual proof that the inside of a computer is teeming with all kinds of radiation. Also saying that power supplies don't supply good, noise-free power is pretty ignorant...

  • lol quite inexpensive my ass....2:25

  • I own a pair of AKG K702's, mine haven't even been fully burnt in yet and you can tell the difference in sound quality when plugging into my Sherwood RD-6405 via TOSLINK vs plugging them directly into my creative fatal1ty pro card. There is noticeably better and more precise response in the low range, you hear more details in the mid range and the highs are extremely clear. An amp is needed to drive quality headphones to their potential.

  • I got beats...

  • @acemace3618 Beats are terrible headphones, please shoot yourself.

  • @n00baTr00pa i can tell by your typed words that you aren't using a high end keyboard like me so please, do yourself a favor and shoot yourself in the dick

  • @blindedby2monkeys Firstly, there is absolutely nothing wrong with my typing. Secondly, if there was it still has nothing to do with my comment, you're just trying to change the subject because you know I am right and you aren't. Finally, the keyboard that I just happen to be using is a Microsoft sidewinder X4. I hope I have made it abundantly clear that you're a tool and know nothing of what you are talking about.

  • @n00baTr00pa lol how are they terrible? i own a pair and they are quite nice

  • @n00baTr00pa They aren't terrible headphones, that's an overstatement. They are terribly overpriced headphones. They belong in the 120-160 dollar area.

  • @jsnake01 That's what most people mean when they say beats are bad. Yes they give somewhat decent audio quality but what you really are paying for is a product that is endorsed by a successful and popular artist. That alone is what drives the "value" of such products up, it's the same thing with apple, you pay for the name, not the product.

  • @n00baTr00pa Its not just that. Think of it like this. If all you listen to is Rap and the like, get the Beats. The Beats have an integrated EQ that is set only for that genre. Now, realize this, its recommended that you also upgrade your source (music) by ripping your music into Lossless files and not MP3 when you decide to upgrade to "audiophile" headphones.

  • @Destroysall You eally dont know what you are talking about do you. My music is also all FLACs, btw.

  • @n00baTr00pa I do. I mean there are many headphones out there. However, if one is comfortable with Beats, let them have it. I'd take anything but Bose and Monster Beats. If I made a recommendation, it would be the HD 25.

  • @Destroysall ..there is no point to what you are saying. If someone wants them then okay let them buy a pair BUT they are getting poor quality cans for the amount of money you are paying for them. My personal cans are AKG K702 which I paid $312 for. As you won't listen to me because you think I have no idea go look at some reviews on them, they are one of the BEST sets in their price range and sound a lot better than beats and cost less. Beats are bad because of their price vs the audio quality.

  • @n00baTr00pa Yes, exactly! I personally use the Sennheiser HD 600 myself and find it way better than either the Beats or Bose headphones. The only good thing I have seen come from Monster were their Turbine IEMs.

  • @Destroysall +1 to BOSE being bad= Buy other sound equipment.. But seriously, not even their IEM's are good... if you want decent IEM's, get yourself a pair of Ultimate ears, best IEM's in my experience, they get a lot of good reviews too :)

  • @n00baTr00pa Indeed! Another set of IEMs that I am hoping in the future to at least try out are the JH Audio. I hear so many great things about those puppies. Them and Westone.

  • @Destroysall

I would not recommend the Beats for even Rap. I mainly listen to Hip Hop however, what the Beats does is that the bass makes the sound really damp and murky. It flattens out the other sounds (the highs and lows). So I really would not buy the Beats for music orientated use. If you do however want something as a fashion accessory and want to boast you do not take music seriously but want show off that you have enough money to afford it, the Beats is the perfect product.

  • @n00baTr00pa If you buy a product so someone successful can have even more money then you're a dumbass.

  • @SWOgottaGO I know that, maybe you need to learn how to read properly you dopey fuck.

  • @n00baTr00pa Plz use a decant gun also, so you are sure dead kk ty

  • @sid12345678910 Judging from your very poor typing, you aren't even old enough to make a valid opinion against me; Go get educated kid.

  • @n00baTr00pa hmmm, maybe its because nobody gives a crap about spelling.

Beats, are very well marketed rubbish ,you should have done some resherch before you bought a pair of beats i mean the the beats pro are actually a pair of good headphones but the price... its a crime, the best example is the solo, worst headphone i ever owned in my life worse then my old skullcandy, then i bought a pair of Sony xb 500, couldn't be happier ( BEATS ARE A POOR EXAMPLE TO THE MUSIC INDUSTRY now plz go die)

  • @sid12345678910 What the fuck? I don't own beats mate.....I own AKG K702's. I have mentioned this thrice now. Learn to read before you try to keyboard warrior me; By the way, Sony audio equipment are also slightly overpriced just saying... I know my shit, don't try to argue with me, your efforts are redundant.

  • @acemace3618 What a tool.

  • I want to clarify this though, the HD555 and HD595 are the same headphone. I'm not saying this b/c I double blind tested them or ABX tested them (which I did), but I actually took them apart. They have the same driver and the same housing. The only difference is the housing has some large foam attached to the vents, so the the quality suffers. Once you remove that foam, you have, quite literally, the same headphone.

  • i just like my stereo amp for this and my speaker system feels better.

  • Right, right??

  • Headphones don't need more power to pump out better sound quality. lol

Output power depends on the impedance (ohm) or the sensitivity (dB/mW) of the amp to power the headphones, it's more complicated than most people think but put quite simply, what this guy said is kinda wrong @1:26

The PC350 has an impedance rating of 150 ohms and 105 dB/mW, it can basically be powered by an ordinary PC soundcard.

  • @kkjgg112391 I'm sorry, but nearly everything you said is wrong. Grab any planar magnetic headphone, plug it into the headphone out on your laptop, and tell me if it doesn't need more power. I'm not sure if you actually know the science behind all this (though you prolly don't if you mean what you say), but you ought to stick to talking about things you know well.

Also, think about DACs and jitter, assuming you know what either of those are.

  • @CJoMin I know DACs and jitter I'm not dumb I own an entry-level Fiio E7, I was just pointing out that the guy said you need more power to put out better music. Don't troll on me.

  • @kkjgg112391 That's what you were saying? Let me quote you: "Headphones don't need more power to pump out better sound quality." I'm sorry, dear troll, but this is what you were pointing out, and you are terribly wrong. Instead of trolling (and subsequently telling me not to troll), actually refute my point. I'll say it once more. "Grab any planar magnetic phone, plug it into the headphone out on your laptop, and tell me if it doesn't need more power."

  • @CJoMin Ugh whatever. Have fun.

  • @kkjgg112391 You cant be more wrong. There are headphones out there that wont produce almost any sound at all unless you have a dedicated amplifier with a lot of power. PC350's arent really headphones to use as reference. They're low/mid end headphones, not audiophile high end headphones. Try using some high end sennheisers or beyerdynamics out of a pc sound card...not to mention hifiman, stax or audeze headphones..which need a few grand amps to work properly.

  • @kkjgg112391 Most headphones will produce decent volume out of sound cards, but they wont sound right. I have Sennheiser HD650, and when plugged into my asus xonar d2x sound card directly, they have virtually no bass, they're slow and dark sounding, they sound congested and have almost no soundstage. When plugged into any proper amplifier, they sound literally a few times better.

  • is linus a butt pirate?

  • i would buy a card like that but the issue is i cant hide the 4pin molex connector (will look too ugly in my case)

  • well...when you have the sennheiser HD800 there is no need to upgrade ^^

  • lol.. wanna hear a joke ?

    ... gaming headsets...

  • @Villeum so true

  • @Villeum I don't get what you're saying is a joke. Gaming is basically the only thing you can do where you'd want both high quality output and input in a head set. An audiophile can do with high quality headphones, and someone who needs to record audio can do with a high quality standalone microphone.

A gamer, however, needs both at the same time (depending on the game).

Personally, I use headphones and a condenser mic separately for good quality.

  • @TheKingdomofErnor You do know that "gaming" headsets produce bad quality audio right? they are designed for gaming, where bass emphasis is usually needed, in most cases using a gaming headset for music will result in poor quality mid/high range that sounds dull and undefined. as for the bass, unless you buy a top of the range set its going to sound muddy and usually boomy as its usually the mid bass and not the sub bass that is emphasised in cheaper models. I know this from personal experience.

  • @n00baTr00pa Nope, never bought a gaming headset before.

  • @TheKingdomofErnor Sorry, couldn't fit all of my reply into one comment. As for high quality mics for gaming...? Seriously? Only the Mics in very expensive sets are of decent quality but really aren't needed as such, as long as you can hear someone talking that's all you need, you don't HAVE to have a professional filtered studio microphone just to talk on vent/TS/mumble/ whatever, you get it. They are a ripoff and most people only buy them for the convenience of having both devices in one unit.

  • @Villeum Wanna hear a joke? Womens rights. lol jk

  • @tyler5310 LOL.

  • @Villeum Strange, because they just make a really good surround sound headset and call it a "gaming" headset even though it would be just as good with ANYTHING else

  • @Villeum Sorry? I dont get the joke. Explain.

  • @Villeum ummm..... didn't get it, care to explain....... anyone?

  • @Hsanity Like the more mainstream brands like the Beats more money is spent on marketing vs. development. They usually just throw in a gimmick like 'surround sound' and up the price. All they are really adding is Dolby Headphones, which you can get off a lot of stuff including the ASUS soundcards.

  • @Villeum hey man, if you have an xbox, turtle beach x41's will blow your mind...

  • i am getting the Sennheiser HD650 with a Headamp Gilmore lite or purity audio k.i.c.a.s caliente

  • I have that same stainless steel shelving setup in my garage, lol. Those things are handy! Lol thought that was funny. So, yeah, I am looking to do a dedicated amp setup, but unsure which way I'll go yet. I also have a keyboard and do play with recording and mixing, so my solutions gets more complicated, especially if I want to do it all, from play latest games, to decent home recording, to obviously great audio sound for movies and music.

  • Razer Barracuda HP1/AC1 one?

  • Razer Barracuda HP1/AC1 one?

  • I still prefer realtek.. The best for me

  • yes, I am definately in for audio upgrade with Asus Xonar Xense

  • onboard sound of the sabertooth AM3+ and I don't change it reason why a put my budget on better performance of th major componant nice cooling and my onboard card work juste find why buy a card im happy with what I have

if you made creation exemple music games video it's not worst the money but for gaming if you wamt one it's you're choice but me don't buy one

  • i just got a fiio e7

  • I really want to get Creative Labs SB X-FI Titanium Fatal1ty Champ for my comp that I'm going to build.

  • @darkheat246

Don't. Creative and sound does not compute.

    It's shit really.

Go for one of the Asus Xonar-cards.

  • @511V325731N The thing that won me over on the Fatal1ty champ was the front bracket with the different features; I looked at the new and beta drivers they seem to fix a lot of the problems people were saying.

  • @darkheat246

It's not just that. It's the quality of the sound, and creative as a company.

They're lousy. They sued a guy for fixing an error they said they couldn't fix. (Which would MAKE people buy a new sound card instead of using the old one. It was just bullshit to boast sales.)

A guy fixes it, releases a good and free fix. And gets sued.

    This is one example.

  • @511V325731N Well if you take someones product and alter it that is copyright o.o? If I don't like this card I can always return it for free and get the Asus PCIE Xonar the 170dollar one.

  • @darkheat246

He fixed an error they didn't want to fix. Because they didn't want people to be able to use the product they paid for anymore. They wanted them to have to pay for a new one. When there was no actual need for it. They just wanted more money.

It's like i sell you a bike, then after a year of use, i feel that i want more money. So i go all out on your bike and break it. Just so you will have to buy another one. Is that a straight up way of doing business?

  • @511V325731N No but if mine breaks im covered its fine bud :P

  • @darkheat246

It's not that it got broken. It's that they did it - on purpose - to get more sales.

It's about what kind of company you are supporting.

And combine that with that you get a lesser product, with a not as good sound quality.

But it's your choice, you can pay more for something that isn't as good, and support a company like that. Or make a better buy and support a company that is actually good.

I have no BIAS, i've just been in the game a long time.

  • @511V325731N I can't judge on the sound because I have yet to use this as I am gathering the parts for my build. If there is a bad quality I can always get my full money back like I've said before. Money is not the problem. I have yet to hear problems for the Sound blaster Xi-fi Fatal1ty Champion w/mounting control bracket. I have seen a lot of misshaps with Asus Xonar. No company makes a perfect product. If a machine is built by humans and a human built machine makes something there are flaws.

  • @darkheat246

It will probably suffice for you - but you will get better with something else, x-fi is a gimmick and so is the crystalizer.

I haven't seen a great deal (out of the ordinary) amount of problems with the Xonar series.

  • @511V325731N I hope I win those Razer Tiamat headset true 7.1 audio surround sound first of its kind

  • @darkheat246

Those WILL be shit however. True surround sound headphones are just a gimmick, you won't get real surround no matter how many speakers are in one cup, it doesn't work that way.

All you'll get is many very small and shitty speakers. Virtual surround software does the surround thing many times better - while giving you the chance to have decent drivers.

  • @511V325731N It is impossible to state the quality of a product with out testing it first. If the drives in a headset are positioned correctly then yes surround sound is possible; because when you put speakers in a entertainment center your ears are just picking up the vibrations of the air molecules around you, so if the drivers are around the ear then yes it will be true surround sound. Judging by the images on razer where the drivers are located will give surround sound.

  • @darkheat246

Not in so small cups. It won't be comparable to "real"surround. The sound quality will be really bad due to the very small - and cheap, drivers. No matter what you can technically call it.

It says itself, more = more expensive due to quantity

Smaller = More expensive due to size.

This means you will get many, small and non-satisfying drivers.

I know quite a bit how sound (and especially headphones) work. No need to go into that, it doesn't make much for your argument..

  • @511V325731N Product demo image on a site does not give actual product size so unless you have a set or find a review when it's out then you can determine if it's good or not. You can't judge a product if you've never touched it.

  • @darkheat246

Sigh. Unless they're sized as water-melons, which i seriously doubt. The experiance won't be pleasant.

But you might not be that picky, i can only speak for myself. But then, audio is one of my hobbies and i've grown quite picky.

They might do it for you - but you will still get a better experiance with a pair of headphones with decent drivers, some actual quality headphones and virtual surround than with a "gaming headset" with a gimmick.

  • @darkheat246

" head-fi dot org /t/567640/true-surround-sound-headphones " Something you might be interested in reading

  • @511V325731N I seem to be repeating my self even this forum stated the Razer Tiamat has to be tested; once you aquire 180$ plus shipping then you can test them and come up with a valid response. You can't lecture me about a product that has yet to be tested or be released. If I gave you a lecture of the mechanics of the human brain it won't matter who I direct you too, if I lack evidence or a sheet of data to support my claim it's pointless.

  • @511V325731N here is an exact post from your source. Heya,

You could perhaps check out the Razor Tiamat 7.1.

It has 10 individual drivers in the headphones.

    Gonna go for $180 retail.

Dunno if it's actually good, we have to wait for it to release and get extensively reviewed.

    Very best,

  • @darkheat246

Yes. One comment, from Mal who is a good guy.

But 10 - cheap and bad - drivers aren't going to be better than 2 good drivers, and it's not possible to place them for a good surround experience in that confined space.

But i'm just trying to help you make a good purchase. It doesn't matter to me whether you waste your money or not.

  • @511V325731N I never said I was purchasing anything; I don't mean to sound rude but a driver can't be cheap and bad if it hasn't been made yet, or more to the point no one has ever used it. It will be out soon so just keep your ears open for a review when someone buys it.

  • @darkheat246

It's simple logic that more drivers, mean a higher cost.

And when the headset is cheap, that means that the many drivers have to be cheap for the headset to be profitable.

It won't be able to match with a pair of stereo-phones qualitywise. Then it's up to the buyer whether he prefers the sound of the razers or some other phone. Sound is personal in the end.

And the drivers have most likely been produced by now.

  • @darkheat246 surround headphones are crap, stick to stereo headphones. If you want surround sound you're going to have to get a home cinema system.

binaural recordings are very good though.

  • @darkheat246 Auzentech fixed Creative's analog-hardware issues in the X-Fi Forte 7.1 (half-height) and X-Fi Home Theater HD (full-height) PCI-Express x1 models, which match the CA20K2 audio chip with op amps on 8 channels and a headphone amp on Front-L/R. Ye'll need a quiet slot, however, as the Auzen X-Fi's don't have the XONARs' shielding.
