Dave Hunt at first claimed he knew almost nothing about the Reformation or the Reformers. A short time later he comes out with a book claiming to be an expert on the Reformed faith. That's a lie. Either he knows or he doesn't. And since he admitted not long before that he knew nothing about it, and then claimed to be an expert, this makes him a liar and a bad one at that.
Servetus was a heretic who was put to death after a lengthy trial found him guilty of heresy. John Calvin could not put a stop to the execution if he'd wanted to. He had no authority yet to do so in Geneva at that time. Heresy by law in that period of time was punishable by death. It is not the fault of Calvin even though he agreed to it. Paul approved of Stephen's stoning and David had Uriah killed because of Bathsheba. The claim against Calvin about Servetus has no merit.

Actually, that is true. Since we are all graced with the perfect sovereignty of God, it was clearly ordained that I should hold to the Reformed theology. Prior to coming to the Reformed position, I never, not at any time, desired to persecute Calvinists. Okay, as long as we are being honest, Calvin did not murder Servetus. Calvin warned him not to come to Geneva, and he came anyway. He was being hunted by the Roman Catholic church for Heresy of denying the Trinity. All Calvin did was testify at his trial.(you know this).

Yes, that is correct and the Holiness movement was also demonically inspired. However, Azusa Street spawned Pentecostalism. The apostle Paul was addressing the apostles and disciples through whom the apostolic gifts were being bestowed for the purposes of bringing forth the Gospel which is now sealed. Any extra-biblical prophecies or revelations would be divine Scripture so the question is, why have these new revelations not been added to the canon? The answer is found in Revelation 22:18-20.

I'm not pro-abortion. But prolifers are aborting Bible to claim it's murder to have an abortion. They egregiously malign God and His Word in all their actions and claims re Bible. Worst of all, they POLITIC on this, which is Revelation 17. So prolife is satanic.

I wasn't a Calvinist until last year. That doesn't mean I am a hypocrite. I had a hard time coming to the truth of it's teachings. But when I stopped being so proud of my own freewill and let the Holy Spirit reveal to me the truth about my salvation, I recognized the truth in the Doctrines of Grace. Apparently so did Utopiang. Dave Hunt at first claimed he knew almost nothing about the Reformation or the Reformers. A short time later he comes out with a book claiming to be an expert on the Reformed faith. That's a lie. Servetus was a heretic who was put to death after a lengthy trial found him guilty of heresy. John Calvin could not put a stop to the execution if he'd wanted to. He had no authority yet to do so in Geneva at that time. Heresy by law in that period of time was punishable by death. It is not the fault of Calvin even though he agreed to it. Paul approved of Stephen's stoning and David had Uriah killed because of Bathsheba. The claim against Calvin about Servetus has no merit.

Actually, that is true. Since we are all graced with the perfect sovereignty of God, it was clearly ordained that I should hold to the Reformed theology. It took me months to reach this point because I was being educated scripturally on the position. If I had simply reached it within 1 week it would hardly be thoroughly examined and proven.

Prior to coming to the Reformed position, I never, not at any time, desired to persecute Calvinists. Brothers like Jay, Dorian and Kevin knew that I was not Reformed and yet they showed me unconditional Christian love and kindness, never forcing their beliefs on me or belittling mine. Rather, they gently encouraged me in my walk. This is the fruit of Christ-like love.

Okay, as long as we are being honest, Calvin did not murder Servetus. Calvin warned him not to come to Geneva, and he came anyway. He was being hunted by the Roman Catholic church for Heresy of denying the Trinity. All Calvin did was testify at his trial.(you know this).

Yes, that is correct and the Holiness movement was also demonically inspired. However, Azusa Street spawned Pentecostalism. The apostle Paul was addressing the apostles and disciples through whom the apostolic gifts were being bestowed for the purposes of bringing forth the Gospel which is now sealed. Any extra-biblical prophecies or revelations would be divine Scripture so the question is, why have these new revelations not been added to the canon? The answer is found in Revelation 22:18-20.

I see you have your fangs out, ele12957. I made the comment you quoted months ago and BEFORE I came to fully accept the truth. Praise God! Leonard Ravenhill was a sound Biblical teacher despite his stand on Arminianism. Few people would dispute that he was a man of God. Interestingly, as an Arminian, he named Charles Spurgeon as the being one of the best evangelists of our day.
There needn't be war between the two camps however, those who rage against Calvinism must be firmly corrected.

Wow, that is funny, I enjoy Matt Slick. I think he is very knowledgeable. However, if he feels that spiritual gifts are for today, that is his belief. Doesnt mean I have to go along with it. Did any 'theologian' ever get everything right? I think not. Otherwise he would be God. Would he not? As far as Geisler, like I said, he is very knowledgeable, but he is wrong when it comes to reformed theology, as well as the age of the earth. He subscribes to 'billions of years'. Wrong!!!

I would invite anyone to go check out ele12957's comments on John Crowder ANOTHER GOSPEL video. John Crowder is a false prophet that apparently ele follows. Since I have tried and failed to post these sayings here, go check them for yourself. Dont be surprised if you see alot of "deleted" comments. But when I ACTUALLY READ the bible and saw what it said, I changed my position. Norm Geisler is a well respected man, but when it comes to reformed theology, he is very ignorant. He calls himself a 'moderate calvinist'. So please, why dont you butt out, and take your pentecostal/word of faith teachings with you please.

Basically, when she was talking to me, she said that Calvin was my pope...she thinks if you just believe once you are saved, even if you have no understanding of what you are doing...told me I could blaspheme God and still be saved...told me saying faith produces works is unbiblical...said trying to live for righteously for God isn't needed...said we can stay "spiritual" retards"-her words not mine-and be fine...

she sent me to her website, which for some reason that she won't explain to me, you have to be a legal adult to view.. she told me that "repent" was just a favorite term of the Calvinists...and when I gave her all sorts of verses about repentance is when she accused me of lying and said "conversation terminated". Unless she deleted comments, all this should still be publicly visible.

Don't forget that she says the pro-life movement is blasphemy and Satanic because God is not the author of life and babies don't have souls until they are born and take their first breath.
