i have a problem with my vodoo 5 5500, when i plug it to the universal agp port it starts to display the image in my monitor but it also displays vertical lines, i tested other cards in my intel 815 motherboard and they dont display that problem, i noticed that my voodoo 5 has some scratches in the golden "connectors" that plugs in the agp port, does someone knows how to fix that problem ?

@putabuela You STILL have a Voodoo 5? Anyway, I don't know if the V5 uses some sort of odd SLI interface to handle the multichip config. If so, the bars may be SLI load balancing indicators. You can probably disable them in the card's control panel.

If it's not that....go buy a fucking new computer. IT'S ABOUT TIME, isn't it?

Why are you stressing the card? You should save it so you can someday look at your old stuff and find that card. And you'll be suprised that when you plug it in it works. You may be killing those gpus. At least i would get a crappy 9 series card to save that piece of history

@Dant2142 3dfx was bankrupt anyway, they had no future product designs because all the money ran out (they truly only held some patents which later proved to be invalid, see crossfire etc)

Well there is a guy on youtube claiming that he is running F.E.A.R on Voodoo2 SLI with some mysterious drivers. It's near impossible considering the the amount & speed of the onboard RAM, clock rate of the card & even the PCI port data rate, yet the game APPEARS to be running without ANY lag, & with unrealistic image quality LOL

if u have enought PCI slots.... basicly the VSA -100 is LINKABLE, and noit set the maximum numbers of ... :D at the Lan , we set 4 of V5 to link in a pentium III (1.4 Ghz) and test with Counter-strike-like games :D (first test is on Natural selection 2.1)

NO WAY? the AGP v5 5500 is NOT WORK with PCI edition V5 5500. USe only PCI editions to LINK ...

if U have enought PCI slot, u CAN LINK it :D we test a V5 linkability in a ABIT motherboard (Pentium III) we link a 4 of it , and test in a Half-Life mods-- NS, DOD, TFC) and reach a OMG, WTF, and others :DDD
