@rampage222555 ok Well they technically released 5 albums, and they were releasing them pretty consistently. BUt remember the band broke up for 10 years, Of course they're not gonna have 20 years worth of music, the band hadn't actually preformed for 20 years straight.

The had like 10 years inactivity, but the band lineup was formed in the mid 80s(i believe). there was 8 or 9 years gap between jealosy and dahlia. Art of life really shouldnt be called an album. Most of the songs on dahlia were singles from years before its release. Id say X isnt really consistent in making albums as a band.

Because they became famous with their unique Metal style combining classical elements and long guitar duel solos with epic Songs .. remember Silent Jealousy, Rose of Pain or Art of Life .. these were musical masterpieces Songs like Jade pale in comparison to this high level ..

I love classical music aswell, so please i don't want to start a fight here, it's just my (and not only my) opinion that they should come back to their metal roots and not to a Pop Group

@MeinKomponist Also remember that Sugizo is in X Japan now, he has a bit of another style of playing the guitar than hide but it's definitely not anything bad. And yes their music has changed, that happens mostly to any band, but that doesn't have to be bad either.

We can't really require them to be what they were before 1997. We should just be happy that they came back and now are present making still beautiful music, in my opinion.

X has gone too far... for NOT being on Golden Globe? - - This is about Yoshiki writing a piece as a solo classical composer, not as songwriter/drummer of X Japan. As far as I know, Hide was never involved with Yoshiki's classical project, and for you to casually throw in his death on an unrelated subject is just low.

Also, it seems like a band is not allowed to be successful nowadays if they don't want to be called a sellout or whatever...
