  • My judgement:

    Pros Airbus A380:

    -Cool new design!

-Big, very big! For me a big plane is an impressive plane.

    -Nice engine roar

    Pros Boeing 747-8

    -Nostalgia

-In my opinion a more elegant look than the A380

    -Beautiful and great engines...

  • Damn it, I KNEW this shit happen. Seriously, these 2 planes are going the same stupid direction as JP3's Spinosaurus & Tyrannosaurus incident. But when Shit hits the fan,Shit hits the fan.

  • No doubt the A380 is, by size & weight, is the King Of The Sky. But the sheer beauty of the graceful lines of her hull & wings make the 747-8 the Queen Of The Sky. The prototype set the new record for max takeoff weight @ one million, ten thousand pounds! It is 1a & 1b, but my vote is for the 747-8. If it aint Boeing, I aint going.

  • 747-8 kicks butt...a380 is ugly

  • 747 is Queen...never to be replaced!

  • 747-8

  • why are boeing 747 pictures in a simulator and a380 real pics

  • Go Big Or Get Lost But Boeing 747 Still Is The Winner. Boeing 747 Is My Favourite Air Plane

  • i would fly on both planes - the air buss is a monster,it`s so quit when it takes off but the 747 - 800 is huge to,we must remember the air buss is a relative off the old 747 - it`s like comparing the Star Wars - Star Destroyers In Episodes 1,2,3 to the much more massive Star Destroyers in episodes 4,5,6 - healthey compitition advances technologies - please reply to my insights - Gavin

  • @25royroy Hey Tony get off your Pony cuz Precious A380 has cracks in the wings and Australian flight engineers want to ground the A380 flying piece of shit. The A380 with exploding engine now has cracks in wings. Oh, yes and so does the A330. Do you know about the De Havilland Comet were jets crashed because of cracks in the fuselage. Seems the Brits use the same cheap aluminum that caused the Comet crashes are now on the A380. Admit it Airbus cannot build a descent safe plane!

  • Too long??? well i go with the 747-8i since not every airport has to build new raps, catering trucks, tow trucks to handle it. The 747-8 will be flying long after airlines has turned the A380 to some remote desert aircraft graveyard. Next when the A380 goes down the history as the biggest failure in aviation the 747-900.

  • The 747-8 is too long. The winner is A380 ;)

  • 747 :D

  • 747 is my favorite...hope more airlines order it soon.

  • 747! I like it!

  • There's enough room for both in the market.

    747-A legend

    A380-A legend at its beginning?

No question, the 747-8 is the more elegant plane to look at, especially with that beautyfull new wing. Both planes are phantastic achievements.

  • personly i think not many people here know much about planes, so i bass my opinion on the sale numbers, and airbus is selling more planes than boeing since 2002. so in my opinion airbus is better, or does better if you want 100% accuresy

  • @rubikfan1 Volkswagon sells more cars than Bently, Rolls Royce, Maserati and Ferrari combined, does that make them better? Cheaper is cheaper and better costs more. The safety record of the 747 could only ever be matched by one other aircraft and that was the 707

  • Definetly the 747-8. I mean it has a nice new type of wing, its longer and bigger then then the 747-4 and it just all around looks better then the a380. I mean sure the a380 is nice but it looks like a pregnant guppie.

  • @Airliners3164

What "new type of wing" do you mean? The 748's wing is a rather classic design, although recalculated to improve it's aerodynamics and fitted with raked wingtips instead of the classic winglets. Don't confuse the PR pics in this video with reality. Btw. if the 748i is so good, why does it still have so few orders?

  • @Airliners3164 Do not listen to this blablubb fanboy, you are right it is a totally different wing, it is a different NACA # it has more sweep and the raked tips reduce vortexes and therefore vortex drag significantly over winglets and even more over wing fences ( as used on the A380 ) Everything is different about this plane and nothing is interchangeable with the original 747's except maybe a toilet seat. Understand when your an idiot like blablubb if it looks the same it is the same

  • Boeing 747-8 definitely is the winner. A380 is just plain ugly like a big turkey.

  • 747 looks beautiful but the A380 has a lot of room

  • YS-11 will do.

  • 747 or A380.......?! And the winner is,............... 787!

    R.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N is all in 787!

Folks this is the most advance cockpit, the most fuel efficient, most environmentally friendly, most lightest & yet strongest composite material composed of, most quietest, best cabin air pressure/ air purification system, and most comfortable ride for passengers in any plane ever built so far; I'm so very proud of you, Boeing Dreamliner!!!

    [with love from SanFrancisco]

  • @MisterSunson Well said. (Retired Boeing Flight Test Team here). This aircraft is the safest thing you can put in the sky. It's an amazing flyer. The 747-8 is just as nice. People will ask for it, there is no contest against the Airbus. It wins.

  • The 52 dislikes are from the airlines that already bought the ill fated A380 and wish they had not bought it. with only 236 sold ( not nearly enough to cover development costs ) Airbus will have to go to the governments again for a third bailout. Aircraft companies are supposed to make money, not lose money and then run to the government for a bailout

  • @prohelipilot1 Airlines who bought this aircraft report above average pax payloads (over 80%) and thus higher profits, as shown in management accounts of the likes of Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa and Qantas. Passengers also ask for this aircraft over others so you are telling lies yet again. Assuming 100% occupancy of 1st and business class, thie a/c is profitable from 65% capacity. Both airlines and passengers alike enjoy having the option of greater personal space unlike other a/c

  • @USNemesis Show me where any airline operating the A380 has posted this. You can't so fuck fuck off BOACMach2 your just so full of shit

  • @prohelipilot1 yes only 236 are sold but the 747-8 have sold a lot less A LOT LESS only 106. Airbus makes 70 million dollar more per plane then the Boeing 747-8 so airbus make more money per plane and Airbus are now selling more plane then Boeing. the US government is giving money to Boeing like the EU are giving money to Airbus that how US government got in to 15 trillion dollar of debt and all the EU governments giving money to Airbus Can pay off there debt. PS Airbus are making profits.

  • @adamwpe Is that why the governments of 5 countries have bailed out Airbus financially 3 times now. Boeing has never had to be bailed out and if Airbus is turning a profit they wouldn't have been bailed out. You're a fanboy and thats alright but you do not know business very well

  • @prohelipilot1Yes airbus has been bailout like banks but boeing get hugh amount of tax break which save them billions, and im not a fanboy becasue i love the boeing 747 it the best plane in the world and it will all was be but boeing is a much older company so airbus needs to be help to get in to the race and airbus made 1.5 billion euros profit in 2008 and 2011 should be their best year (becasue the nuimber of slaes) but yes i love the 747 but i don't love the747-8 becasue they just got lazy

  • @adamwpe sorry for the spelling mistakes

  • Yet again boeing comes out on top :)

  • The new 747 should sell well because its tried and tested airlines know what it does and this is just a better version of perfection.....

  • boeing are the best

  • The Boeing 747.

  • Airlines don't buy planes on looks they buy planes that will suite their needs to make them money. Super sized airliners ( A380 / 747 ) are no longer the largest market share. Long range with good volume like the 777 are the number one market these days followed by the smaller ( 220 seat and under ) are the next market. and regionals ( something unheard of yrs ago ) have the inter city market Why burn 100,000 ltrs of fuel to move 150 people when you can do it with 75,000 ltrs

  • B 747

  • a380

  • Boeing will always be the King -- Airbus can be a good Prince / Princess.

Boeing is Royal by all standards -- Jai Hind

  • Leave this old elephant 747 to rest in peace... new age is already - 747-8 is like a new parfum with old suit... changing avionics, engine and materials on one really old conception is not enough at all. Looks cheap but unfortunately still expensive to maintenance, keep in condition and use it. Anyway - we'll see soon for real, 'cause 747-8 is still not available and on the big promises and strong words no one believe anymore... so far words and promises are Boeings best weapon ;)))

  • does the shape of the airbus really matter

  • @cprocks12345 What do you mean does shape really matter? of course it matters aerodynamic drag is responsible for the large fuel burn. Why do you think the airliners fly way up where the the air is thinner? because of the view. Aerodynamics now play a big part in the fuel economy your car gets going 100 kph. So it is going to play an even bigger part in an Airliner 100 times the size of your car going 1,000 kph

  • @prohelipilot1 no i mean a lot of people are saying the airbus looks like a fat whale...

  • @cprocks12345 Kinda does look like a fat whale

  • @prohelipilot1 but that dosent matter does it?

  • @cprocks12345 Efficiency matters, airlines are in business to make money and everything to them is cost per ton moved, so a more efficient aircraft is what airlines want. Most effient airliner to date 777, that is why the A350XWB is being produced. We all have aircraft we like or hate but the airlines use a profit/loss statement to decide what does them best

  • 747 all the way for me.

  • Airbus A380>747-8

  • go on my channal when you want see some cool A380´s videos.

I got a lot ot real landing and take off videos! in HD.

  • i think the a380 has a bad design he looks like a humpback whale

  • This two mammoth (B747-8/A380-800/A380-900/A380-1000) of aviation no doubt will find their market share, the fixation of creating conflict is contra productive as the tide that will control the orders of one over the other will have much to do with global trade agreements (globalization) and the savings that will reflect into the coffers of the carriers over them trying to provide a more adequate passenger/consumer friendly way of transportation!

  • 747-8 is much nicest and wing by new engineering, but if 747-800 add second floor like a380. it would be popular. 787 must make second floor, too. next 797 must continue second floor. double tail might help plane straight during strong wind.

  • @Cougman1978 No, that wouldn't work. The 787 is designed to be a smaller jet but it flies quicker and more efficient than the A380 and 747. Adding a second level would create more drag and it wouldn't be efficient.

  • the 747-8 as a380 was made to proof the concept of a 2 level airline but the 747-8 is made for perfection as it has already proof its point years ago

  • A380 looks ugly but 747 .8. Looks better

    747 8!!!!

  • The boeing 747-8 is bigger than the a380

  • @mopiloot It's longer, but smaller in every other way.

  • @RsSemitsa

yes thats what i mean haha!

  • the 747 is not going against the A380 Boeing Y3 aka (Boeing Yellowstone project 3 ) is But id take any boeing over airbus

  • 747-8 is looking very sexy !

  • 747 is pretty better

  • 747-8

  • How airbus says A380 can hold 867 pass THATS ONLY IF ITS 1 CLASS . for example all economy so pretty much a lie because airlines use 3 class

  • @ikolkyo967

Because it CAN hold this amount of passengers (853, actually) if any airline decides to go for a 1-class layout. Maybe you should ask why Boeing states 467 passengers in a typical configuration for the 747-8i while Lufthansa, the launch customer, will fly it with only 386 (8/80/298)?

  • @blablubb12345 well that is really rare for only 1 class for a airline . and for your question for the 747-8 . Boeing is gonna use Yellowstone project 3 to go against the A380

  • @blablubb12345 Can you do math? if you put 853 passengers and their luggage in an A380-800 it will be a very short flight. With full fuel and 465 passengers the plane is already at its MTOW. Just cause you have he space to cram in over 800 seats it does not mean you can get them off the ground

  • @prohelipilot1

Fact is, the A380 is big enough to carry 853 passengers and is certified to do so. Air Austral has ordered 2 A380 with all-economy seating.

  • @blablubb12345 Yes it can be outfitted for 853 passengers but the range for a fully loaded A380 with 853 passengers would be very short somewhere around 3,800 NM

  • @prohelipilot1

    Any proof for these numbers?

  • @blablubb12345 No offense but you seem like a guy who has a great interest in aircraft, but does not have alot of knowledge. All aircraft have maximum weights. The aircraft empty weight, the passengers , the luggage, the fuel, the crew, the food all add to the weight of the aircraft and when you hit max weight thats it. So if you need to put more people on then you need to take fuel off and reduce your range.

  • @prohelipilot1

I know very well what empty mass, MTOW, fuel load and payload/passenger weight means for an aircraft. I asked for a source of your numbers (3.800nm), not for education on basic aeronautics.

  • 747 was, is still and will be the best airliner ever!!!

A380 is only FAT and UGLY!!!!!

  • @thecrapper17. A very intelligant argument you pose there may I say so.

  • @thecrapper17 You say this because you're american, the 747 is hunchbacked look at it, don't be jealous,

  • Size doesn't matter as much nowadays. Its more towards efficiency and innovation. Many airports can't even accommodate the A380. Boeing 747-8 is more practical in size. Besides, Boeing has been in the business WAY longer than airbus which secures many people's trust. Boeing made the first and finest jumbo jet and its only getting better with more of different aircraft being produced. Other then that, all you haters can kiss my ass XD

  • @xTomcatsForeverVF84x BA had to make a choice whether to buy the 747-8I or the A380 to replace their ageing 744s. Being a long term Boeing customer it was thought they'd opt for the 748I for practical/commonality reasons etc. But they decided to buy a fleet of A380s instead. Willie Walsh explained that given slot restrictions at Heathrow and other busy hubs worldwide, it was the only means of growing passenger numbers using the same number of aircraft. The A380 carries 500+ the 747-8I 400.

  • @BOACMach2 We'll see in the outcome

  • If 747 is the queen of the skies, A380 is the KING.

  • 747 will always be the Queen of the Skies

  • I like both but if you combined the 747-8's wings & engines with the A380 body...

  • @pokabuPOTTER67 If you did that, the aircraft would be ruined. It's well known that the A380's wings are technically more advanced than the 747s and one of the many reasons the aircraft has the edge. As for using GE engines, the jury's out on those you'll find.

  • @BOACMach2 well it would look a tad more cooler eh?

  • @BOACMach2 Except that blended winglets are more efficient than wingtip fences.

Also ask Qantas if the jury's still out on the engines, they'll disagree quite strongly.

But I agree that Airbust currently has the drop on Boeing, they seem to be able to time their releases and development better. But the thing that I think will ultimately decide which company wins is whichever FBW system comes out on top, cause let's face it, that is the major difference between the two companies currently.

  • |therre both good

  • well i like both airplanes. but the 747 is still my favorite ariplane.

  • Boeing allows more freedom to the poilet. With the airbus im pretty sure poilets fell locked up like they cant do anything.Airbus I like the direction they are going to though.Pretty soon like in some years computers will be flying us to places and not humans.A human probably wont even have to be there soon.

  • There both great Companys, I bet if the CEO's of both saw this they would frown upon ALL you people who just sit here and argue on which is the best. The fact is they both have there advantages and dis-Advantages.

  • @arby321 The one problem with that is that computers can get things called a virus and if a computer that is flying a plane got a virus there would it could mess up on the altitude or the location of the plane.

  • The music goes with the boeing part.

  • The collapse of the A380 would be disastrous enough in itself. This is an equally ambitious and expensive model, called the 350XWB (standing for extra wide-bodied). The plane, Airbus's answer to the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner, will cost another $12bn to build. Without those A380 sales, however, Airbus will be in a terrible bind. Tim Clark, the president of Emirates, says simply: "Airbus has got to produce a meaningful competitor to Boeing. If they don't, they will be out of business."

  • a380 is the best dud

  • a380 all the way

  • 747-8 is better

  • 747-800 one word ,epic

  • But A380 is the king of the skies

  • Boeing 747 is the queen of the skies

  • 747-8 definitely. Boeing is much better than Airburst.

  • 747-8

  • @XgamerXthe2nd Every 3 seconds a 737 lands or takes off

  • 747-8

  • Airbus are the best!!!

  • Airbus sucks. As simple as that.

  • too many americans on here that just cannot see that the 747 has actually never been fully revield and teted omfg i have too shower i feel so sick after reding all these comments.

  • 747-8

  • I won't get into the argument of 'which is better', but...

The new 747-8 is simply a beautiful plane. Boeing got it right with this plane and even the untrained eye can see it...

  • The A380 is a 2 story piece of crap.

If it ain't Boeing, I'm not going.

  • AIRBUS A350-DELAY-LINER DELAYED UNTIL 2017, LOOK MA NO ENGINE

Boeing 787 & 747-8I strategy + timing will intercept massive airbus sales + cancellations. Airbus blows it again + their A350 is up the creek without a dependeble engine. GE gave Airbus A350 the "Next-Gen Kiss Of Death" sorry but Boeing exclusivity contract bar sales no to Airbus. As usual Airbus wants quality for cheap. RR says they can develop + build a new engine in 5 years but cannot guarantee it will not explode occasionally!

  • HOW DANGEROUS ARE RR EXPLODING TRENTS ENGINES

To months ago Lufthansa A380 had to shut down 1 of its four Trent 900 engines B4 landing at Frankfurt due to concerns about an explosion. Another Rolls-Royce powered A380 owned by Singapore Airlines turned back after leaving Paris in September last year because of a possible explosion. Qantas, Singapore Airlines and Lufthansa are the only operators of A380s powered by Trent 900 engine built by the British firm at its RR Auto factory in Derby!

  • @julesgymnast Airbus lost 5 China Airlines A380 sales that went to Boeing 747-8I. Hong Kong Airlines cancelled 10 A380's that + bought Boeing 747-8I. Airbus lost Fedex + UPS sales + both bought Boing747-8F. Airbust A380 sales book is thin, down 200 while Boeing has sold 136 B747-8I. Every B747-8I sale is a nail in the Airbus Coffin which has to sell 500 A380's to break even. Do the math Boeing strategy is going to force Airbus to cancel A380 cuz it cannot breal even + its doomed to be canceled.

  • There were no A380 sales but the Boeing 747-8I had big sales at Paris Air Show + Hong Kong Airlines cancelled 10 A380s. Boeing sold 17 747-8I'S and China Airlines ordered 5 747-8I'S + this totals 133 Boeing 747-8I'S sale in 5 months VS 200 Airbus A380's that took 5 years. Every B747-8I sale is nail in the Airbus Coffin which must sell 500 A380's to break even. Do the math Boeing strategy is going to force Airbus to cancel A380 cuz it cannot breal even + its doomed to be canceled!!!

  • @LottoWinner999 You seem to have missed the point that Airbus sold more aircraft to the world's airlines in the past week than Boeing did in the past year and took over $72Bln of orders compared with Boeing's $22Bln. Those are the facts. Boeing have 53 747-8 Intercontinentals on order not 133. You sure seem addicted to lying. What a disgrace and embarrassment you continue to be.

  • @USNemesis Airbus is selling concept planes that R not built + will not be ready to 2019. In 5 months Boeing sold 133 747-8I & 747-8F while Airbus sold 241 A380s in 5 years + only delivered 51. Boeing is beating Airbus with a better airpane, milage + less emissions. Airbus A380 is 2 1/2 years behind dleivery + must sell 500 to break even. Boeing strategy every 747-8 sale brings the A380 to financial ruin + cancelation. Airbus lost Fedex, UPS, Air China + Hong Kong Airlines to the Boeing 747.

  • @LottoWinner999 What utter nonsense you talk. You seem totally blind to the fact that Boeing's failure to give the airline industry a definitive decision on the future of 737 has led to airlines opting for the A320neo over the 737, even though it's acknowledged the "neo" is not necessarily more fuel efficient than the 737-800. Airlines want new, upgraded aircraft, not an aircraft conceived/developed from the airframe of the venerable 707. Airbus's marketing of the neo has won over 1000 orders.

  • @LottoWinner999 And dont pedal misinformation and lies. The A320neo is not a concept plane and it will be inthe air by 2015, given its a basic re-engining project with a few tweaks here and there. Your facts on the 748 are meaningless, and incorrect. No wonder others take you to task over and over on this. You are well aware the sale of Boeing's first 748I was in May 2006, not 5months ago as you say here. Only a person of low intelligence would deny these basic facts. How embarrassing !

  • @USNemesis Your a liar, Airbus is counting Chicken B4 they hatch + A350 is a disaster, they have to build a new engine that takes 5 years + its delayed to 2017. Airbus is redesigning the old A320 cuz their broke + its cheap to build an A320. Airbus jumps from 1 plane to another + A380 is a flop that drains money Airbus can't afford to lose. The A380 is White Elephant + they will cancell it cuz their 6 billion dollars in the A380 Rathole + they lose sales to the economical Boeing 747-8I & 7478F.

  • @LottoWinner999 I'm a liar? Then you are a fool! I'm a businessman and one of my busnesses is connected with civil aviation. You haven't the slightest idea what you're talking about, that is clear from the numerous others challenging your points. Airbus's business model, though fraught with logistical problems and setbacks has moved ahead of Boeing's. You bemoan Airbus for doing things Boeing has done for decades, e.g 747 & 737 programs. There's no difference. What a hypocrite you are!

  • @USNemesis I'm trying to teach U aviation economics. Airbus-neos R unbuilt, untested concept planes + will not be built till 2019. Airbus is short on cash cuz + A380 is a financial flop. Airbus Trolls laughed at B787 + called it delay-liner but your A350 is delayed till 2017. B787s will be delivered in August + every A350 delay or cancelation will switch buyers to Boeing 787 who R going N2 full production with 2 plants. Boeing build the best aiplane + B787 & B747-8I are a decade ahead of Airbus.

  • @LottoWinner999 If you had half a brain you would see that Airbus's future looks a lot rosier than Boeing's right now. They have a good, modern product range with the A320 as its foundation. THe A350-9 will come through in 2013-14, the A320neo in 2015, along with the A350-8. The A350-1000 (777ER competitor) will be ready in 2017 with the RR XWB engine (which will also be used on the A380-900). Boeing have the promise of the 787 this Fall and Boeing should regain some lost ground at last.

  • The 748I has had its day. Boeing are well aware this old airframe cannot match the new A380 and at best is a stalling tactic. They can consider themselves fortunate that Airbus's logistics with A380 are a nightmare, resulting in the suspension of the freighter program. The 748F will save Boeing's blushes. Alburgh should step aside. He's not up to leading the Corp. All Boeing have done these past few years is lose ground to Airbus in sales & innovation. Now they're embroiled in labor disputes.

  • @USNemesis Can U be fair + watch "ACI - China Airlines Flight 006 " this about pilot error + B-747 that endured 5GS of gravitational pull in a flat spin from 42,000 feet + recovered at 18,000 feet, flew home + landed safely. Talk about air-frames please watch "Airbus A380 Flutter Test" + A380 came close to 1G pull, there was a loud bang in the airframe + after emergency landing the A380s main spar was twisted, almost collapsed + A380 came close to crashing + thats the best reason to fly Boeing!

  • The Paris Air Show was nothing short of a humiliation on a grand scale for Boeing. Sales of $22.4Bln compared to Airbus's $72.4Bln is nothing short of embarrassing. And Boeing had their latest products on show too! Boeing's biggest crime was in allowing airlines an easy choice when choosing between the 737NG or the A320neo. A huge financial blunder from Alburgh that merits a pink slip. They may very well now lose blue chip customers such as AA to Airbus as a direct result of their inaction.

  • @USNemesis and you are saying that because... the reason sales are less for the 747-8 is because it's a BRAND NEW AIRPLANE the a380 has been out since around 2007, thats 4 years, so shut up...

  • @jaffacake1578 You need to check your facts. The 748 has been available for purchase since Nov 2005 when Cargolux 1st ordered. That is close to 6yrs. It's a brand new airplane in title only, being a derivative of the 400series. And by the way, your info on the A380 is incorrect too. It pays to get your facts right before passing judgement. You can end up looking the fool if you get my meaning. Sales of the 748I are less for the simple reason the A380 is seen to be the better all round aircraft.

  • so is that also why American airlines just bought 300 737 max's then?

  • @jaffacake1578 You got your figures wrong. As you see from the figures below, of AA's order for the 737, only half are for the MAX. Where do you get 300 from??

    100 737NG family beginning 2013

    100 737RE family beginning 2017 - global launch customer

    130 A320 family beginning 2013

    130 A320NEO family beginning 2017 - U.S. launch customer

    Source: American Airlines

  • @LottoWinner999 So don't talk to me about aviation economics. Aviation is my business and the last thing we need are morons like you thinking everything is "ok". Airbus are ahead for a variety of reasons and to pretend that's not the case is, quite frankly, stupid and a rocky road to bankruptcy. But feel free to ignore all the warning signs (AA-Airbus, Ryanair-COMAC agreement, Airbus-Chinese plant in Tianjin, the C919, Sukhoi's new jet etc.) We all know what happened to the Dodo, right?

  • @USNemesis A380 is a bad investment + 6 Billion Euros in debt + cuz of engine explosions its almost 3 years behind in delivery. U know nothing of aviation strategy + Airbus A380 is cheaply built + is fucked with only 1 engine supplier. Airline Industry feels safe with Boeing 747-8I + that can exchange parts with the 747-400 + new GE Nex-Engines R 20% more fuel efficient, quiet + low emmisons. In 5 months Boeing 131 747-8I sales has more that halfed A380 which has not fixed it engine problems.

  • @AIRBUS Nemesis AIRBUS A350-DELAY LINER LOOK MA NO ENGINES

Thats right folks Airbugs has no engine for their A350-DELAY-LINER thats dealyed till 2017. Airbus executives went to GE with heads bowed, hats in their hands and cryed please sir may we buy some new GE B2B Nex-Gen Engines for our A350's? GE execs said, "Sorry your on Boeing's naughty list + trying steal a Billion Dollar engine that GE & Boeing co-partnered." Nope design your own engines instead of stealing Boeing & GE Technology!

  • @USNemesis Well U know little about + the A380 is 6 Billion Euros in debt + U do not reply to that. Airbuses free ride is over were AB bought US jet engines without devloping their own. The Trent Engines are not fixed and at 40,000 feet a Trent Explodes + knocsk out the engine next to it your lucky if U land. They have not found the source of the leak. How come Airbus paid Singapore not to tell Quants about oil leaking Trent engines? What kind of company does that? I will tell U, "Desperate"!

  • @USNemesis I hope you can remove the Roto Rooter from your ass because it makes you a very nast cunt maybe you should just give up and get a gun and blow your fucking shit for brains into smithereens. China has blocked a deal for $ 3.8 billion with Airbus. Posted On Friday, June 24, 2011 By Russian Opinion. ... Cancel the deal was a powerful argument in the dispute between China and European government, which plans to force foreign .

  • @USNemesis the asshole possesses the brain of the glob. Says he's he's an American but he's really a Gay Brit..Can you figure that? A liar and a coward and embarrassment to the UK.

Explaining that China Airlines bought the new 747-8I because its the airplane made in the world would be like trying to teach quantum physics to a retarded ape like TWTR4EVER. This idiot just doesn't possess the intellect...lol but for some reason he's scratches his anus while picking his nose

  • @USNemesis So don't talk to me about aviation economics. Aviation is my business and the last thing we need are morons like you thinking everything is "ok". Boeing are ahead for a variety of reasons and to pretend that's not the case is, quite frankly, stupid and a rocky road to bankruptcy. But feel free to ignore all the warning signs (AA-Boeing, Ryanair-all Boeing, Boeinge plant in South Carolina, Boeings new 787.) We all know what happened to the Dodo, right?

  • @LottoWinner999 Go away fool! You are a disgrace to the American nation. Ex Vietnam my ass! Your moronic behavior merely reinforces the patronising manner adopted by some Europeans towards us. Get out of here you welfare waster. Pathetic!

  • @USNemesis A380 is a financial failure. They've only sold about 200 in more than 10 years of marketing them and they're unlikely to sell the 500 or so they need to sell to break even.

The A380 is a piece of shit with two wings!!!

  • @LottoWinner999 The A380 should have sold more for sure, but it's not a financial failure as you suggest. If you were to look at the accounts relating to this project, you would see Airbus have given it 15years to break even (480 units at list price currently) But consider this. According to Boeing's own internal reports, given R&D costs, heavy discounting of airframes between 2004-06 for the 787, added to the multi-billion $ lawsuits by various airlines for late deliveries...Cont'

  • @LottoWinner999 ...It'll take 840 units for the project to break even. That's kinda embarrassing, considering most of the delays were down to Boeing's decision to outsource the majority of the work to companies outside the US. So they have incurred unnecessary expenses as a result. If you can't see that many of the reasons Airbus has taken the lead over Boeing revolve around poor decision making or lack of leadership at Board level you cannot be helped. No wonder Airbus are laughing right now.

  • @USNemesis your not an American your another Limey U R BOACMach2's Gay lover and every 1 here knows that both of U are Aibus A380 Bathroom Queens looking for quickee. Creeps like U R found every where in Gay Old England. If U guys minded ur own business Treasury minister U would learn Lord Myners has defended the secrecy surrounding the £61.6bn Bank of England loans to HBOS and the Royal Bank of Scotland. Also British banks were caught "cooking the books" but this was all done in secret!

  • @USNemesis Airbus loses 10 A380 orders 4 by Skymark of Japan and 6 for Asiana of Korea and that bring Airbus remaining sale down to 189. For Airbus, every A380 cancellation is bad news, of course, since the program remains so far from break even after 10 years. The A350 program is in jeopardy thus Airbus could be in severe financial trouble. The Airbus A380 is a dead duck and it may well take Airbus down with it quack, quack, quack and croak.

  • @LottoWinner999 Go away fool! You are a disgrace to the flag and all our nation stands for. Not only are you a serial liar, you are an ignorant imbecile with no sense of morality. Go and get a job instead of leeching off the welfare system. You seem to spend all your waking hours fruitlessly attempting to kid others into believing your trash. Everywhere I look on here, I find you being proved the ignorant idiot you are. The vets would be ashamed to witness your vile behavior, lies and attitude

  • @USNemesis No thats not the reaon, actually I enjoy making fun of Humptey Numpteys like U. Its not every day I have the opportunity to expose a flaming Limey Fucktard like U. Lets face U being a celebrity and the son of Mad Franky Fraser the serial killer makes my day! Your such a tard and I set my hook deep in your gullet your like Tinker Mackeral who cant spit it out as I slowly real U in while U spit one lie after another. I luv deep sea Trollin on Utube cuz there so many suckers like U!

  • @USNemesis Should the A380 flop, it would merely be following in a long tradition. Without Airbus, Boeing would have a complete monopoly over large commercial aircraft. Whatever happens, it is inconceivable that the French would let Airbus fail. As President Chirac said of the A380 at its roll-out in Toulouse: "This veritable ocean liner of the sky will go down in history like the Concorde." Perhaps not the best of analogies, but you know what he was trying to say.

  • @USNemesis did your lover BOACMach2 blue-ball U, cuz your so upset? Or was he selfish after you gave him a deluxe blow-job he said was to tired and wanted to sleep? USNemisesis you need to wind down and if your lover BOACMach2 cannot satisfy you, you should get dressed and go to your favorite Gay Bar and get a new lover or at list a quicky to release the stress caused by getting none. I don't know why your Gay and thats okay but which one are you the Butch or the Fem? Try wearing a dress?

  • @USNemesis Why does UK have so many Airbus Fairys like U? Ppl say if U had any balls U would stop scratching them + your anus, get off ur couch + stop being A380 Armchair pilot. Ur an Arm-Chair Airbus asswipe with yo head so far up yo ass U worry if U fart your tiny brain will explode to smitherreens. Do some thing instead of flapping your big fucking Limey mouth + Jaws. Your such a fuckard that should go back to hole U crawled out of AKA your mother how your Knee Pads and Scope holding out?

  • Easy win for the A380. Much roomier and greater seat sizes in all classes, its a whole lot quieter with a greater number of options for the passenger cabin ie bars, mini lounges, wifi enabled. Korean Air even has a duty free shop onboard as well as 2 lounges. Sorry to say that the Boeing just cannot match its flexibility and passenger comfort. The aircraft itself will transport passengers more cheaply from A to B which is another reason why the A380 outsells the 747-8I.

  • 747 ftw! airbus is has a small body but very large wings not in good design... 747 has a body perfectly fitting the wings

  • 747-8..... Winner, plus its better design where form meets function. Besides all major airports were designed around the 747 at the time. No need really to extend runway lengths unlike 380. Good Job Boeing.... If it aint broke than dont try to fix it, but improve on it....thats exactly what they did. Imporved.

  • @ThePilotHarry That's a pretty juvenile comment to make, especially the last sentence. Airlines buy the A380 because it makes financial sense to do so, given continuing increases in world oil prices, the need to transport more people using less aircraft (pollution), the fact many airports are over-crowded and slot-restricted, requiring the airline to find a means of growing their business using the same number of aircraft. Why do you think BA are switching to the A380 instead of the 747-8?

  • @USNemesis Thats not true + you know the Airbus A380 is 6 Billion Euros in debt and no airline even Airbus who is heavilly and illegally subsidized cannot afford to throw money down the A380 Rathole. Airbus is 3 years behind delivery + only 51 delivered. Airbus A350 is delayed has no enigne and is delayed till 2017. The A320neos will not help cuz delivery is not until 2019 + U only get paid upon delivery. What happens when A320neo is delayed? Airbus has to many oustanding sales 2B profitable.

  • 747 is a proven aircraft with an almost perfect track record. I would not d
