  • nice voice

  • This tune, Here I Am Lord, was written by Daniel Schutte, one of the "St. Louis Jesuits". J.M.Talbot has recorded many of the songs of John Foley, Bob Dufford, Roc O'Connor, Dan Schutte and Tim Manion... the St. Louis Jesuits, hopefully, with proper acknowledgments.

  • very beautiful, but this is Dan Shutte. John Michael has another version.

  • wa

    u sing so well

  • Lovely rendition -- this is, as someone noted, written by a Jesuit, not Talbot.

  • This is beautiful. Thank you for sharing. :)

  • Awesome!

  • Actually from the St. Louis Jesuits. JMT covered it.

All glory, honor, and praise to Him and His Son Jesus the Lord! :-)But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. II Corinth.4:7

  • "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. II Corinth.4:7"

Earthen Vessels just happens to be an album by the St. Louis Jesuits, featuring Dan Schutte -- the man who wrote this song

JMT included this song on his Table of Plenty album -- an albulm of songs by other Catholic musicians and writers

  • This means so much to me I just listened with tears streaming down my face thinking of the loved ones I have lost and miss so much.Thank you for your beautiful version

We sang this at my friend's funeral.. he passed away aged only 14 a year ago on the 18th of this month.

    Thanks again x

  • Your welcome, and sorry to hear of your loss. Thank God though that in Jesus there is hope for those who go ahead of us, that one day we will see them again.

    God bless :-)

  • Nicely done. Though he did record this for Table of Plenty, this isn't JMT's song. This popular contemporary hymn was written by Dan Schutte of St. Louis Jesuits fame.

  • Hey, thanks for the info for this song. It's maybe the only song I've heard him do without a guitar,....just a piano.

    Blessings :-)
