@cpo2u That's actually a good point. Skin tone is an important consideration. Skin tone, skin reflection and clothing are things that you need to consider when lighting and shooting your videos

What should one use for lower power usage of same light output? Are there filters that work over the newer bulbs? ALSO, more importantly...you guys rock. Nice no BS, to the point presentation and CORRECT!.

@101AOK You can try to simply add more diffusion over the light to cut some of the power. Yes, if you want to, you can use a gel, but keep in mind it will be a pretty big one to cover the softbox. Also be sure that it is a neutral gel, not a colored gel, to match the color temperature of the other lights. You can also adjust the positioning of the lights, if you have room. Try moving the light itself back from the subject, and that will cut the power of the light as well.
