Honestly, if you want to really get into that funky, blues, r & b style you have to go back to those old funk, blues, rn b, and soul records and just listen and play. No 1 person will ever be able to teach you everything you need. I will admit that there alot of techniques that the old players used that I think are getting kind of lost and just by listening you might not be able to pick them up.
