this game did have much potential. like the jumping thing wasn't very well indicate, jumping was usually just a little to short on the 2d levels, and too many glitches.

I would love to see a sequel with stuff like this fixed.

yes. the game was repetitive. its visuals and combat ran hot and cold. But you know what? It had a kickass soundtrack, hilarious dialogue, and an entire ocean's worth of blood(and even more than that).

This game is like CRACK for gamers!! BADAZ!! When I first bought this game - it was out of bordem. Saw the bloody mask and figured this was as close as I could get to a Kratos/ God of War gameplay. Needless to say after the first 20 minutes into the gameplay I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS GAME!!!! Beat it on Brutal and caint w8 till thesequel comes out. Hope they male the sequel in an Assassin's Creed/online-multi gameplay style.

Splatterhouse is one of those games you keep because its too awesome to let go of. Some of the best combat i've seen in a game and music to match. The plot is intriguing and puts you directly in the mindset of Rick. Personally, me and all my friends loved the game to pieces! We are all waiting for a sequel or a game incredibly similiar.

These comments are just assinine, really. I platinumed this son of a bitch. This game is too damn glitchy...and crummy. Everything-from the camera, to the piss-poor story-earned it it's rating. Hell, the only thing they got right was the concept. Art direction was dead-on, but it just seemed like once they tried to make a game out of it, it was gonna be epic fail! Splatterhouse 2010 shoulda just stayed on a canvas where it belonged.

For a game oriented around time travel, they were able to keep the flow of the story very well. And the story went very well with the past Splatterhouse games. I'm 30 years old, and the inclusion of the old games was critical, as there is still a soft spot in my heart for them...but they were barely playable. The bottom line is it shoulda just gotten cancelled, instead of Namco wasting their time and money!
