Ramachandra Chitalkar is the man who revolutionized Indian music. He introduced the alto sax in combination with guitar and harmonica. He also included whistling in his song "Aana meri jaan Sunday ke Sunday" in "Shehnai". He used a combination of a bongo, an oboe, a trumpet, a clarinet and a sax for the song "Shola Jo Bhadke" in "Albela". He sang the title song "Shin Shinaki Boobla Boo" with Lata Mangeshkar. He provided the musical score for the scat song "Ina mina dika" in "Aasha".
Great song .One of the best song of C .Ramchandra ,Bhagwaan is at best with his unique style of dance ,he has defined dancing standards in hindi movies ,almost all the stars are inspired by him and his style intimated by many even today.Melod queen Lata as usual "THE BEST" Thanks for uploading this song .
omg.. i have been looking for this song for forever.. thank you.. it makes me so proud to be an indian.. and see that society was so progressive in '51 beautiful song.. <33
The unprepossessing but talented Bhagwan and the lovely Geeta Bali may lack physical symmetry, but look at how beautiful their dance moves are-- perfect yin and yang. And the background dancers lend their own extraordinary charm to the fluidity of the whole performance.Add the melodious duet of Lata and Chitalkar(CR) and you become enraptured.
Albela had numerous gems. This one remains at the top of the treasure. Thanks again.
What can I say??? The song/dance is good, no doubt about that. At the same time YOUR comment, the wordings and how beautifully you used those words are as good as the song itself.
As I used to say, your ability of this is a blessing of God.
