  • Awesome tutorial!!! I love this style, versus most of the others here on the YT. I am going to make this for a guy's Christmas present, kind of a gag gift, along with some other cool stuff! :)

  • @SellyNue thankyou!

  • what do you use to stuff it? regular cotton or what? never seen anyone do it around here

  • @lellicamila i use polyester fibrefill, its really fluffly and kind of spongy feeling, so it makes for a nice firmly stuffed, squishy stuffed animal!

  • i tried it and it turned out great! :D hahaha

  • @soreribsin D: Omygosh Thats amazing! Your very talented at drawing and sewing!

  • Love this video nice to see someone else left handed.. Trying to make a template. Need approx space size from large to small for beak. Spent last night having a play around, love the way they look so cute.

  • @sewmuchtosee1 haha, i'm actually right handed.. i recorded this on my macbook webcam and there's no way to flip the video so its the right way.

everyone keeps teeling me that the link i put in the info section for the pattern doesn't work, so if you private message me your email address i can send the pattern to you

  • I love this project! Would you please send me the template? I tried to download it but it wouldn't work for me. lanie_charlieb@yahoo.com.

    Thanks!

  • @laniecharlieb yes i will! i'm working on getting all my pattern piece links working.. i still can't figure out why they don't work for anyone :(

but its on its way :)

  • I think my comments aren't working because of the link...so let's try this:

If you google Tutowlrial you should come up with the moonstitches.typepad link, which is where I first found this pattern. Maybe this is where it came from?

I have a whole army of these guys living on my bookshelf now!

Thanks for the tutorials, as always! I always get excited when I see a new video by you in my queue!

  • @meowfaceify hmm, i've never been to that site, i got it from somewhere!

you're welcome, and thanks for watching!

  • love the big one, if i could find some fleece I'm going to try to make it :D

  • @PTuinman thanks, he's definately my favourite one too :) he's so squishy

  • can you please please please e-mail the pattern to me? because i can't open the link but i really want to make it! my e-mail is tanja-kuller@hotmail.com

  • @famKuller yes i will email it right now!

  • Hello. I was going to attempt to make your owl which are totally awesome. But the link is not working for me. I was wondering if there is any way you can maybe email me the pattern instead or perhaps point me in the direction of somewhere else that has the pattern available online. Thank you very much

  • @ChocolatyKat i don't know why the links are 't working for anyone, i have uploaded them to various photo hosting sites an the links all worked for me :S but yes i can email the pattern to you, send me a private message with your email!

  • @soreribsin

Hello. I sent you a message with my email. I was just wondering if you had gotten it or not. I dont know if I may have accidently deleted your email or not. Thank you again. Sorry for all the trouble

  • @ChocolatyKat hmm i remember reading your email.. i thought i sent it to you but maybe not, i will send it right now :)

  • Hi Soreribsin, I love the owls and I tried to make one tonight but the face turned out more like an eagle. :) Do you have a different link I could use for the template? The link in your info bar didn't work for me. You are fantastic in this video!

  • @mitawnee hmm that's strange, what do you mean like an eagle? and i will re-upload the link to the pattern pieces, the link works for me so i don't get why it doesn't work for others, but i will fix it!

  • aww this was so interesting! i really want to try one these :) they are so cute, you are so good at making them!!

thankyou so much for this video :D ps. you are very pretty!

  • @ourspoonistoobig you should, they are so easy and adorable! and thank you very much :)

  • heys its me again lol, imma attempt to make these (beginner sewer) and i was wondering what material do I use to make these, becacuse you just said fabric.

    thankyou :)

  • @misssweetatheart you can use any type of fabric you want! this is a good stash buster because it uses small amounts like scraps. i would suggest not using a really thick fabric like denim or something if you're making a very small owl, because it could get very bunchy and stuff. so pretty much any fabric you want! fleece works well for larger ones. you could even use felt if you wanted to :)

  • great tutorial :)

  • @misssweetatheart thanks :)

  • great tutorial. i will definitely try it! btw where did you get that labyrinth poster? its amazing!! 8D

  • @hotcoldweather thanks! i actually drew that labyrinth picture! it was a project i did in highschool, its one of my favourite drawings i've ever done!

  • @soreribsin Oh wow, great job!! its my favorite movie so i had to ask. ^^

  • @hotcoldweather thanks! its my favourite movie too. i even have a tattoo dedicated to it.. well, the words "as the world falls down" from the david bowie song in that one scene :) love it

  • @soreribsin Omg... that's badass. you're awesome. :D

  • @hotcoldweather haha, thanks! :)

  • Do you still have the link for this pattern for the two pieces? This is awesome.

  • @moakeoni thanks! the link for the pattern pieces is in the info section under the video :)

  • @Abfab611 no problem! yeah once you make one you can't stop! i have tons of them haha

  • Comment removed

  • these are so cute!!! and i love the picture on your wall, btw!

  • @startrekkinchic thanks!!

  • too cute! and you explained it very well too. do you remember the size scale of the bigger ones you did?

  • @temporalmilieu thanks! hmm, i can't remember, i made them one a long time ago and i don't think i saved the pattern pieces :( i am pretty sure the biggest one's pattern pieces were bigger than an 8.5x11 sheet of paper.

  • Love the Labyrinth poster behind you! :)

  • @Phase5of4 thanks, its actually a drawing i did in highschool!

  • @soreribsin Amazing!

  • These are very adorable =)
