Lots of post-processing needed. But the test looks all in all good, despite the unconvincing 'nade explosions. I really liked the headshot to the helmet. =]

Nice video, but that kraut had the wrong weapon. From the looks of it that rifle looked like a Lee Enfield. Only British soldiers were equipped with those. The German Infantry soldiers were issued with Kar98's.

No, actually we're movie/game costumes and props collectors... so... If you take all that into account, ofcourse it'll cost some money... but we don't wanna think about that part too much ;)

i don´t know why but i don´t like your muzzle flashs and you should increase the brightness at the " grenade explosion " frame...but the rest looks very cool and your cuts are great would like to work with you ?

its actualy the lee enfeild,a British weapon, not Russian that would mean it would be a Mosin Nagant which it isnt.

That's some fine looking footage right there! I like the colours a lot. Couple of things came into my mind: the action looked a bit timid, try to edit it more aggressively. I also hope you'll be spending time to make great "physical" sound effects for the final product, they were a bit lame in this one. All in all, looks very promising!

We used one of Canon's newest HD cams. Awesome image quality, but most of that sadly goes to waste compressing it for the Tube.

Nice equipment...but some military knowledge would be good as well ;) ...at this range even a pistol round would penetrate the helmet. And if not, the helmet would fly away and/or the soldier would have had a broken neck. 7,92 mauser is a really powerful cartridge. ;)

Not true a pistol will not penetrate an m1 helmet. I have tried it with a ww1 .45 hand gun it leaves a dent. even at 5 feet it leaves a dent. but a rifle will go right through it your right about that part.

We shot at the same helmet with a P1 (->German Army (Bundeswehr) P38 ) in 9mmx19 Parabellum. It penetrated the helmet at a range of 25m. We used the actual army round. The old 9mm Para made about 320m/s ..enough to penetrate helmet at close ranges. ;) but the .45 is as pointed as the 9mmx19

This makes us want to finish the full movie even more and sooner, but we're taking it step by step, moving along slowly, because we want this to be our best production.
