If anyone is getting a error when they are launching emulator and the error states: "Invalid command -line parameters: Files"
The issue is the SDK is located in your Program Files folder. To fix it, close out of the SDK and AVD manager, click windows, prefrences, android tab, and change the SDK location to either:
C:\PROGRA~1\Android\android-sdk If the SDK is in the Program Files folder.
C:\PROGRA~2\Android\android-sdk If the SDK is in the Program Files (x86) folder.
@lindsayslorach yea, I should probably go back to 3rd grade.... and just to warn you, you will probably hear that mistake 134 times by the time you get through this series, sorry :/
