I just hate this kinda self-adulating, i can not see a sense in a video like this and i will not change my opinion that it's unmusical. And why do you think that i don't know little about the subject? I am upright-bassplayer too. And what you see as technical knowledge is stammering for me, without intonation and a feeling for groove. I just think that you should learn the basics on such a difficult instrument, before you try such kind of music, other musicians work hard to play it clean.
To the Bassplayer: Why are you playing so much notes? Just for demonstrate people that you're able to do it? It sounds inmusical if you always play a 320bpm onescale Walkline without feeling. And the drummer plays also boring stuff.
Why are you commenting on a subject which you know so little about? Music is open for taste, just because you dislike either a musicstyle or way of playing, doesn't mean it's not good. Pushing the contrabass to the speed from the solo requires great knowledge of music and lots of technique. By the way: A: it's not one scale. B: it's not 320 bpm.
