I think you will find that this mantra is not from the RIGVEDA 10.121.2 as you have pointed out. That Suktam (10.121) is well known as the Hiranyagarbha Suktam. This more likely is a Shloka from the Mahabharata or some early book, as it is first quoted in the work of Shri Nimbarkacharya (Mantra Rahasya Shodashi, verse 11).
